Hey, thanks for watching the video! To my understanding, both are almost identical in terms of the ingredients being used to craft the gin. Although the Select Edition has more emphasis on the Sakura (Cherry Blossom) ingredients, so it will be more floral to the scent and taste compared to the normal Roku. Hope this helps!
Just about to order gin from paneco…was already confused between Bombay sapphire and tanqueray….after watching this, now Roku is also thrown in the mix ….haha By the way, good content fellow SG resident :) ….
Yeah, the alcohol tax here in Singapore is a lot higher than most countries, so most people think twice before buying any spirits to test if they like the taste
We tried it, last month, and we loved it.
Totally agree, still one of my favourites to kick off the weekend!
Yup and I am onto my 2nd bottle. Totally agree, this should be drunk neat to enjoy the subtle taste of the botanicals.
Yeah, this is one of the more balanced gins i have tried, perfect to drink neat
Wah... Very very tempting 😏, will get 1 to try. Thanks for the effort ☺️ .
I actually bought a few to stock up… haha
$55 is crazy. I get it for $20.99 here in SoCal
Yeah, the alcohol tax is Singapore is pretty insane! Even the cheapest beer goes for around $2 per 33cl can!
Hi can i check the difference between special edition and normal edition?

@@sgalcoholguy thank you so much for the response! Amateur to gins, afraid i got the fake one only 😅
Yeah, i get what you mean! Hopefully you bought it from a legitimate vendor for greater peace of mind
In the US it is 33%, whilst in the UK it's 43% and a lot cheaper (about $28-$29)
Yessss the deanston virgin oak at the beginning...got a bottle myself!! Very good stuff with a tiny drop of water!! Like a creamy bourbon!!
It’s actually a very decent whiskey, agreed on the creamy bourbon taste! 🥃🥃

Thanks for the support, fellow SG resident!! I’d skip the Bombay Sapphire, unless you will also be using it to make cocktails.
@@sgalcoholguy thanks… prefer my gin neat and sometimes with a bit of tonic water…will go with Roku
Then Roku will be an excellent choice, I just had it on the rocks while doing some editing. Didn’t get very far on the editing…
that costs 20 euros in spain, what a theft...

@@sgalcoholguy damn....
Yeah, also the reason the content currently is mostly beer… haha
