Just got a bottle myself yesterday first time tryin it and as someone who loves trying gin id highly reccomend it just be aware it has a spicy kick to it so have a chaser ready or if you anything like me don't use a chase the choice is yours cheers all, and happy drinking

That's quiet interesting, thanks for sharing the chaser tip, we might have to give that a go. Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the tips! it sounds like a good recipe we don't know if it would make a great garnish lol.

I am from India. Try a slice of fresh korriander, garlic, onion, chilli, may be a chunk of slow cooked curry beef for garnish!! Now we are talking...cheers

Tried this the other day, pretty decent. Relatively separate fresh tart citrus and some sorta spiciness in the nose, more conjoined and well rounded in taste, too stingy for a straight drinker, pretty light and fresh and enjoyable with tonic although I got a slight bitterness and a slight spice off-taste that reminded me of Bombay Sapphire and which both came and went ever so briefly every now and then. Goes on sale for round about 20€ here on occasion, at which point it forms the value trifecta for B tier gins alongside Citadelle Original and Tanqueray London Dry.

Roku for us was an interesting gin once we served it correctly with the matchsticks of ginger. Some gins are more B tier than others. I think we would class this as a B+ tier..lol.
      Thanks for watching.

This trend started with Hendrick’s and their cucumber. Roku marketing chose ginger. Wait till you get your hands on the japanese gin that requires onion rings for the perfect serve.

Hi I am a gin lover from India. I really enjoyed your videos. I kind of binge watched a few of them. Wanted to ask which other gin were you referring in the video at this price range?

Hi Rishabh, firstly Thank You so much for watching all the way from India. Secondly the gin we were referring to was Drumshanbo Gunpowder Gin, its a very smooth and enjoyable gin, definitely worth a try. I hope that has help you and once again Thank You for watching.

I am thinking of giving this a try. I am a dedicated Monkey 47 aficionado but it takes quite a bite out of my wallet !

@@theginfluencersuk5119 Thank you for responding. Years ago, I enjoyed Old Raj dry gin. Don’t see it around anymore.I particularly enjoyed the orange peel ingredient.

Hi Sharath, we prefer Roku over regular Hendricks, it has more flavour and depth.
      Thanks for watching.

Whats what favorite gin to drink straight? I was recommended this because it was smooth.

If you want something truly exceptional Mother Ruin 1751 torpedo strength. We love that neat but it is very strong...67.5% Thanks for watching.

Personally wouldn't drink Roku straight, it's good with tonic and the right garnish, pretty well balanced, but considering it's "only" 43% it's far too stingy on its own. One of the nicest straight drinkers I've had recently was Tanqueray No. Ten, super smooth, just the slightest warmth on the tongue, very present flavors in nose and taste, mildly junipery and citrusy base notes with some sorta peppery liquorice spiciness on top, great mixer too, widely available.
