When we recently tried it, we loved it.

Completely agree with you on this. As far as value for money gin goes in Australia, it's really hard to beat. Four pillars did a collaboration with the Kyoto distillery and produced a similar style of gin, which was pricier, but a little smoother as well. Roku though, in terms of value, can't beat it!

100%, there are definitely some great Japanese interpretations and also Gins directly from Japan but they usually come with a big $ price tag (which doesn’t surprise me given the cost of ingredients like Yuzu here in Australia). The fact we can get Roku at such an affordable price for the quality you just can’t go past it!

Agree, very good value for a quality gin. My go to for 2022. Cheers.

I got this Gin for Christmas last year and had only tried it a couple of times. Thanks for your suggestion of the Fever-Tree Elderflower tonic - just the ticket!

That’s so cool! It works well with pretty much anything, but the Elderflower combo was just amazing 😍

Yes I recently reviewed it 😊
Absolutely love Monkey 47 but it is SO expensive here in Australia - so just for special occasions for me 😅

@@TimandTonic Thank you for responding. Dedicated gin lover here. I was thinking of trying Roku. I was a fan of Hendricks before I came across Monkey 47. Not a martini drinker. Strictly gin & tonics. Appreciate any recommendations.

@@sirreadsalot786 it’s my pleasure! Roku, in my opinion, is one of the best value for money craft Gins on the market right now and I love the Yuzu character in it. You won’t be disappointed although it is a little more subtle than the botanical powerhouse of Monkey 47. Where abouts in the world are you based and I can make you some more recommendations? 😁

@@TimandTonic Exactly!! Terrific gin but a bit pricey. In Canada it's about $66.00.
