Agree with you, i had the 18 for christmas and it taste not good at all!!! Weird aftertaste, moldy musky, something got wrong in the aging process, i'm so sad! 10 years ago, i had the same bottle and it was much much better with no aftertaste like this one. What's going on with Chivas (English not good sorry)

Jack Daniels = Named after a White man. But ACTUALLY made/distilled by a Negro/Black man. There is a picture of the man himself (Jack Daniels), with ALL (bar one) his workers. Jack Daniels is sat in the CENTRE of the picture & Sat next to him, to the right (please bear that in mind, "to the right") is a Black man. His name is George Green. George Green's dad (please note, still alive when the picture was taken), was called Nearst Green. He was the sole worker NOT to be in the picture. Nearst Green, was not only the teacher & mentor of a young Jack Daniels. He was THE FIRST master distillery for the entire brand Jack Daniels & his distillery number was No.7 Please note: the picture YOU may well see of Jack Daniels & his workers puts George Green, sat next the Jack Daniels, just to the left. However, that picture has been cropped. The entire picture, actually puts NOT Jack Daniels, but George Green, centre of the picture. Thats the secret ingredient for Jack Daniels. A slave. Straight up FACTS.

Trying your breathing technique, I got some new experience with my whisky. Especialy the Talisker 10, the smoke is boosted at least 15% on the palate. 🎉🎉🎉🎉cheers

Great review. I had the 'Captain Morgan Dark Rum' delivered on a home shop as a substitute for 'The Kraken Black Spiced Rum' and almost called the driver to collect it !!! lol. Here is my opinion - 'Treacle is a thick, sweet, black liquid that is a by-product of the sugar-refining process' - That's it ! They found a use for 'Treacle' by-product and made an alcohol drink from it. So if you like Treacle then go for it or mix with coke. I will now place the bottle in the cupboard and offer to guests when required ;)

They now do a lemon and mandarin infused version 😍 tried it today in the UK and it's very nice 👍

I had both No. 7 and the no.27. No. 27 is fantastic in a Jack and coke cocktail

Personally, I thought this tasted like a much weaker version of Monkey Shoulder. Still drinkable for sure! But I’d always choose Monkey Shoulder over this one. Thanks for your insights 👍

Would a low carb beer be acceptable?

Love Gentleman Jack. Basically it is the regular Old No.7, Charcoal filtered again after maturity, then bottled. Lighter in taste and easier to drink. Great for beginners for bourbon or Tennessee Whiskey alike.

I had the one liter. Sweet taste of honey and charcoal. Had it on the rock.
