- Speartech is leading the way again! The LT4 is a 650 HP supercharged 6.2L Gen 5 Chevy V8 found in the C7 Z06 and CTS-V. We have ours mated to the new 8L90 8 speed automatic transmission, and have developed a swap friendly harness and control system to enable this powertrain to be used in your next swap project! You can see our gear indicator showing the transmission going through all the gears! We will be putting this combination in a 1969 Chevrolet C10 truck for final R&D!

We aren't developing a standalone 8L90 controller, but you may look into TCI or PCS. That's more in line with what they do.

What tail shaft is that your using on the transmission? I have a 2019 Lt1 and need to change mine so it can fit in a g body
This is a truck 2WD transmission. You'll likely need an adapter from Sonax to convert to a u joint or modify the transmission.

@@SpeartechLSX can you put the 8l90 behind a gen 4 engine?
Won't work, 8L90 requires the Gen 5 engine/trans computers for proper operation.
MotorsportsX if you read the overview on the jegs website it says it will work with an adaptor plate
