  • I received an email from a hardworking Redbubble shop owner who is set up, has designs and collections, and has even made a few sales. But they can't seem to get to the next level. In this video, I review the store and offer 3 TIPS on how they (and YOU) can take your Redbubble store to the next level, and increase your chances of making a print-on-demand sale!

    Zen, can you make a video about a recent development with RB going to tier system and introducing fees? Can you go over alternatives to selling on RB? And just generally, what do you think?

    I have 127 designs, 139 favorites.
    I did my first sale 1 mois and 18 days after creating my Rb account.
    I'm glad but now I would like to make consistent sales at least 1 or 2 a week

    Hey, I've been following Mr Watercooler's advice and I've sold another four items, and not just stickers - t-shirts. Now I may be able to purchase a whole litre of whisky ;) Thank you, Zen, you're the bees knees

      Do you use Redbubble to sale your products

    I started my RedBubble store in 2022, unsure of its success. To my surprise, this year, I sold a sticker, and my sales are now growing. This has inspired me to prioritize product quality and quantity. I haven't advertised my store yet, but it's time to start. By the way, your channel has been a huge help. Thanks!

    I am amazed! This video was made a year ago when I was making this comment.
    Out of curiosity, I checked the store this video was giving advice on.
    The banner that needed to be changed is the very same one that this video shows.
    Do yourself a favor. If you ask for advice, follow it!
    A very good video, and unfortunately, the person who asked for the review did nothing.
    If you are watching this video. Take to heart the advice and implement in your shop.

      They don't have any respect for artists, I was with them around 5 years, built up around 400 followers and had just started getting some decent sales when they suspended me, I never copied or made any copywrited artwork, I believe the suspension was because of a purge where thousands of artists were just thrown away to save on server costs.

    Like Yelena already commented, what are your thoughts on the tier system. I as well as a lot of others believe it’s going to be the end of redbubble. There’s already a lot of people who are closing their stores. I also saw another video that talked about Society6 doing something very similar. Since Redbubble owns Tee Public is it going to happen there too?

    Hi Zen, any thoughts , theories and suggestions if one is in the Redbubble Standard category now facing significant loss of revenue due to changes ? received notice of these changes yesterday. Looking into it, seems like roughly 1/3 of revenue commission goes automatically to RB beginning May 2023

    When I started print on demand business on tee spring with niche which is very broad and I get views on my listing but still I don't make sales and then I think that moving in to the subniches will be more good for my startup so I thinks sub niches are more good than broad niches

      Yes good question - typically Redbubble pays artists once a month (on the 15th of each month) for the previous month's sales. help.redbubble.com/hc/en-us/articles/202270389-When-do-I-get-paid

    Aren't National Parks names copyrighted? I know it might get you banned on Etsy.

    • @zenwatercooler
      @zenwatercooler  6 месяцев назад +1

      Good question - generally, locations themselves are not copyrighted. The US government owns the logos and some marketing phrases of national parks, but not the name of the park itself. It really depends on the site (like if Redbubble or Etsy allow it, great, and if not... then they are considered not allowed). It's a bit frustrating with these at times because it can be a bit grey.

    • @Wantar

      @@zenwatercooler I understand. In my experience, since stores like Etsy started experimenting with new AI Bots, bad things started happening to people's stores so avoiding anything that might be copyrighted from Taylor Swift lyrics to Mickey Mouse ears is the safest way.
      Thank you.

      Or - “And now RedBubble begins their death spiral with tiers and higher fees.”… If I were thinking of selling on there I wouldn’t even consider it now. Society 6 has the opportunity to take a lot of their business but I have heard rumours they are going to do the same thing.

    Why promote quantity when you’re going to possibly make the shopping experience bad for shoppers? If someone starts buying shirts or other things and they have a bad experience. This is going to push them away from print on demand. Why not promote just quantity over quantity?

    • @zenwatercooler
      @zenwatercooler  Год назад

      I'm not sure what you mean by having a bad experience - if a client goes onto Redbubble and buys a shirt, Redbubble owns the interface. So as an artist, the variables that we can control is the number of products available (as well as a quality).

      Incorrect. Zen Watercooler is Canadian and he pronounces it correctly for Canada and the UK. Your pronunciation is American, not incorrect but not applicable to a Canadian. ZW is trying to help people on their POD journey. At the end of the day, focus on the big picture and the help he is providing on his channel.

    Hi Zen! First of all... Thank you so much for ALL of your teachings!! 🙏🏻
    Apparently 🙋🏻‍♀️ not that good student 🤦🏻‍♀️. I opened my RB store in June 2022, have 262 designs but not even one sale. I'd trully appreciate your feedback. Do you think it could be possible, pleeease?? 🙏🏻 If it so, it's Madelunita Shop. Thank you again! 🙏🏻🍀
