I would love a Rivian someday but they’re expensive and I have to save a lot of money for a down payment. Do you make down payment when the Rivian arrives?
I had to do the down payment about 10 days ago. Once they receive the down payment and then loan info, then they’ll schedule the exact delivery date.

Cool truck overall and it's a BEV which is double awesome. But, I just can't warm up to those funky headlights. Unlike the Cybertruck which grew on me after the "stunning" reveal, those Rivian headlights are YUCK.
By the way check out Zack & Jesse's head to head comparison they did with the Rivian vs F150 Lightening. Sorry but the F150 is the better truck for a bunch of reasons. Great video though! Your eyes do pop with that blue 😉
Agree with you on the funky headlight design. RJ says they will grow on you. Wrong!!! I have seen the truck in person and did a test drive. If designed with a more aggressive looking headlight design they would have a 5-year waiting list.

I’m such an idiot, I was being so indecisive and didn’t reserve the R1T before the price hike! So my build is coming out to $92k.
Get a F150. It's better.
The price hike is really substantial. If mine was built after price hike, it comes to $98k which is crazy!

These Rivians are very cheaply built and of poor quality fit to finish .. when you shut the doors on these things it sound like an empty 55 gal. Oil drum. Not a very solid sound !!
