I think that was one of the best folds I have ever seen. Perhaps it's the greatest lay down of all time considering the odds he was getting & holding a full house.
@@passionfruityoghurt8293 He could have A-10 and be putting you on AA. He could have 3-3. He could have any random bluff because he didn't 5 bet the Kings. But being that Garrett 4 bet his hand you can put him on A-A. Getting 7 to 1 on a call I think it's a great fold but not a profitable fold in the long run. People always act like a good fold is easy when it's not because good players go for big bluffs. Folding J-J there getting 7 to 1 is not profitable at all it's actually a bad fold long term if you do the math

Crazy how much more depth gets added to the game of poker when stack sizes get super super deep. I’m just an everyday 1-2 nlhe player and anytime I end up with a boat, the money is going all in no matter what(assuming the boat is made with you holding a pocket pair and hitting a set and the board pairing up). The 7777 hand care 44477 hand was a great example of how mega deepstack poker is a whole nother animal vs your average 150-200BB nlhe game. If I had jons 4s full vs quad 7s at the river at my local casino game, it’s an automatic mandatory value raise, and in this video we see Jon not even think about it and just flat calls the river bet. It’s crazy how much tighter stack off ranges get once you’re playing super deep. This is why it’s so important to play against weak opposition. I remember last year I got in a hand in 1-2 nlhe playing $1000 effective starting the hand. I got 9h6h on the button and action limps to me preflop, I also limp $2. Sb completes and BB checks. I flop a gut shot straight flush draw. Checks around. Turn is a complete brick. Bb bets $10, I call and sb calls. I river the straight flush. Sb bets $15, bb raises and thinks about it for so long(a live tell that I perceived was that bb had the ace high flush based on how confident he looked). Bb raises to $85. Board is unpaired with 3 to the straight flush on the board, I have the straight flush. I decide to go with my read that bb has the ace high flush and snap jam for $990ish effective with the bb. Sb tanks for a good minute and folds. Bb actually tanks for about 5 minutes then says “I must be crazy that I’m actually thinking about folding the ace high flush here” and throws one chip in. I roll it over and bb looks disgusted and asks me how I could get so much with that hand, don’t you wanna make sure you get the call? I tell him that I had a feeling that he had the 2nd nuts against my stone cold nuts and that I felt if there was ever a spot to overbet jam river for $1000 effective at 1-2, this was the spot. I can’t stop smiling as scoop a $2000 pot at 1-2. Moral of the story is, once you’re 500 BBs deep, you gotta be super cautious with what you stack off with. Even if you have the literal second nuts and you get reraised all in, is your opponent one to overplay a hand weaker than yours when playing that deep?
Rory Callan sorry I edited . Meant raise shove on river - I think with so little behind raising as a bluff is close to 0%. Only worse hand that might jam on the river is ATs. It’s a correct fold based on action tho I wouldn’t have faulted Garrett for calling due to pot odds.

Set over set becomes quads over boat. Reminds me of a scene from Vince Van Patten's "The Picasso Flop" where one player has trip aces, the protagonist trip deuces, and a third turns a straight at the turn. The river hits the case deuce, and then it gets rough.
Honestly Jon just calling with the 44 boat on 46787 is maybe just as good as Garrett's fold. Just had a stone read that Chris wasn't betting 5x after the flop was checked around? A5s, 54hh, 65s? It's such a wild smooth call with the way the action went during the hand.
Looking from the outside its an easy fold...Andy is never bluffing here in a zillion years... but in the moment and on the dance floor it's a brutal decision.... super great fold
I would like to see LATB do something about the time chips in Fridays game, Just Friday. Playing for so much money, just let the player take aslong as he wants until another player calls clock. These guys all respect eachother enough, theres no need to force a 200k decision.
I didn’t think there was anyway gman found a fold. What an absolute animal. Him and Andy are on a dif level imo. I’m surprised they keep finding people to sit down with them
when you say garrett only has to put in 35k to win 157k first off half that 157k would be his own money so he,s putting in 35k to win 78 k of andys money, the other 78k is his own money
Maybe AA turned into a bluff by Andy, but those are better as bluff catchers maybe? Especially for this stacksize on the river. Also what is he trying to get garret off, just exactly JJ. I think all suited wheel aces are just a fold on the turn with the rainbow texture. So good fold by gman

this hero fold is amazing
Incredible fold 👏🏼
what a "Banger" Fold......this guy is sooooo good!!!!
These players are amazing.....!!!!
Set over set becomes quads over boat. Reminds me of a scene from Vince Van Patten's "The Picasso Flop" where one player has trip aces, the protagonist trip deuces, and a third turns a straight at the turn. The river hits the case deuce, and then it gets rough.
woud've been an insta call even before you declare all in at a 1/2 table
I think that turn flat and river shove takes all the straights and club bluffs out of Andy range...thoughts?
Damn sick fold. Most people beat him in with the chips on a call. Respect.
ThEiRsNoWaYoUt. Proceeds to fold and gets out 💀
Honestly Jon just calling with the 44 boat on 46787 is maybe just as good as Garrett's fold. Just had a stone read that Chris wasn't betting 5x after the flop was checked around? A5s, 54hh, 65s? It's such a wild smooth call with the way the action went during the hand.
Cant wait for new live at the bike sessions
Looking from the outside its an easy fold...Andy is never bluffing here in a zillion years... but in the moment and on the dance floor it's a brutal decision.... super great fold
I would like to see LATB do something about the time chips in Fridays game, Just Friday. Playing for so much money, just let the player take aslong as he wants until another player calls clock. These guys all respect eachother enough, theres no need to force a 200k decision.
he still made the right decision, so its obviously not a huge deal. We want to see players play poker, not tank
Wow ...that is a sick fold.....very impressive
Es increíble como Garret siempre presiente lo peor y termina foldeando mayormente de manera acertada
I didn’t think there was anyway gman found a fold. What an absolute animal. Him and Andy are on a dif level imo. I’m surprised they keep finding people to sit down with them
Garrett has such self control folding that river
Just say Andy vs Garret in subscription. We will watch I promise lol
Garrett is such a beast, seams like a nice guy as well.
What a fold by Garrett--WoW, i prob cudn't fold that hand esp w/the odds and pot equity involved...that's why he's world class!
when you say garrett only has to put in 35k to win 157k first off half that 157k would be his own money so he,s putting in 35k to win 78 k of andys money, the other 78k is his own money
That’s the greatest fold of all time imo
I can honestly not come up with a bluff, that Andy can have with this line
Maybe AA turned into a bluff by Andy, but those are better as bluff catchers maybe? Especially for this stacksize on the river. Also what is he trying to get garret off, just exactly JJ. I think all suited wheel aces are just a fold on the turn with the rainbow texture. So good fold by gman
Idk if Andy plays KT this way, but that could be like the only good bluffing candidats
It helps that Garrett knows his opponent. When Andy ships in this spot he has it. Still amazing.
