I never thought about it as a home game, but a private room with closed doors reserved for select players. But yeah, the new format is so bland and unappealing.

For those who don't know, WSOP main event winner Russ Hamilton was found to have cheated on Ultimate Bet, an online poker site by using software to see everyone's cards. He stole at least $20 million, a significant amount of that from Mike Matasow and Prahlad Friedman. After this, Mike became a complete nit because Russ would call his bluffs with ten high and win with freaking ten high. This is why he is so tight in this season. Basically traumatized the poor guy into becoming a nit

You know what the best is….. Mike and Phils greatest hand highlights are like 5 Mins Long. If anyone else at that table had a highlight reel it have to be in different parts. Lol
If he calls Daniel isn’t betting anymore! The right play is to raise. Once he calls with Daniel behind him and then if he flats the raise it’s obvious he has monster. If he raises it can still look bluffy
@@Johnny_Thunder if he puts Daniel on a 9 (after Daniel raises) then it's absolutely the correct play. Especially knowing that station Daniel is always going to pay off, as he should. If you're not putting your chips in with Daniel's hand in a CASH game, and accepting getting coolered even if you think you're beat, then you should just stick to tournaments and refrain from calling other people 'fish'. Legendary stuff by the legend himself. Hellmuth is sitting there contemplating a call with JJ despite the two overcards, even questioning Mike to get a read, then Matusow flaps his gums left and right to finally convince Phil to fold instead of paying him off. Played it like a genius.
I always wondered in the third clip here if Matusow was on something cuz of how he was speaking and acting, especially now after hearing about his recent history 🤔

He actually played it so good.
😆
I think part of it..Negranue loves roasting him (as we saw throughout this entire video) so I think that was Matusow doing it straight back
Eli Elezra and Sammy Farha r such fkn legends.
Doyle is proud at least
Anyone else miss this 'home game' format feel instead of the 'clinical studio'?

"Flops Kings full and now he's so proud of himself" 😂
Phil getting Mike to fold kings has gotta be one of the sickest plays he's ever done
Yep.
He staked Mike the buy in and knew he only had the one bullet and figured unless mike had the nuts he would never call so early in the show
Mike played that hand so terribly from beginning to end

So brutal

Even more hilarious because dwan had 98 off but had to inject himself into the moment
