      Me too.
I played against her IRL before she was well known. Vegas, Caesars. 5/10$. Back in 2008-2009.
      Omg, she was SO acid.
I raised her ONCE, and I did it SILENTLY. I literally didn't say a SINGLE WORD.
She got SO offended, "OKAY TOUGH GUY! I CALL!"
"I CHECK TO THE TOUGH GUY!"
      Omg she was SO gross.
Then, like an hour later, the flop came 6-7-8 and I had 99 (I opened the pot preflop under the gun or second to act, she flat-called middle/late position.)
Anyways, I bet the flop & turn, and didn't improve. An ace hit the river and it froze the action.
She had 10-10, played it pretty slow, she won the pot, and OMG SHE WAS SO happy with herself. It was literally about the most STANDARD POT/HAND you could imagine, but you would have thought she just made the greatest play in 50 years.
It's like she hates the world because she's a woman or something.

Brilliant bluff by Klein in the last hand. He knew that he had credibly represented a set (99, 22 or JJ) on every street.
On flop he raised Croak and everyone just called. As an aside, I think Croak should've shoved there seeing as how many draws there are and the only hands he loses to are 99 and 22 (or the unlikely single combo of JJ).
He bet out on the turn (ballsy move with a straight completing) and called Galfond's raise - a credible line for a set worried about the straight. I believe he knew on the turn that besides the fact that he can win or chop if he gets his straight on the river and win with his flush, he could bluff on a board pairing river.
And on the river, that's exactly what he did!

    • @zizoumonk10

@@zizoumonk10 He probably didn't think an amateur would call that size of bet on the turn with just a flush draw. Flop, sure, but with just one more card to hit, that's a lot to call. Just a really unlucky river card for Galfond to feel like his straight wins against a large bet.

That Galfond fold I didn’t quite understand. If Klein had the boat, wouldn’t he have raised his set or top two pair before the river since there are flush and straight options on the board? What was he supposed to represent with the way he played that hand??

  • @lovetownsend

Klein played the last hand exactly like how someone would play the hand if they flopped a set. Each raise and called yelled out Set, Set. Not sure if that was his intention, but on each street, he played it like a set.
