Right at lunchtime , we are so back *Edit. Would love to see a YTD summary Brad!! Used to love seeing those review videos as you've been playing a ton of poker. Thx as always beast!!
I was up $100k for the year after getting a big score in a tournament that'll be highlighted in some vlogs soon. After that I went as hard as I could over summer and played about $150k-$180k worth of tournaments including six $10k bullets and a $25k. I played almost no cash games. I got extremely close to some big scores, but not quite there including 6th, 10th, 19th, and 21st in bracelet events. You just have to get top 3 or 4 and it's tough to do that. I ran maybe the 3rd worst I've ever run over the last 2 months, which certainly caused me to play worse at times, and lost about $80k total. I'm still up around $500k in tournaments over the last 2.5 years, but I don't care all that much about short term results. The big picture and goal for me is to play against the best, study, improve, and in the long-run it should benefit me. I might breakeven for the next year or two, but I'm ok with that. I could just play 5/10 at Bellagio and win $100k with little stress, but I like challenges and want to work towards being the best player I can be. I also really want to win a major title at some point. To summarize all of this, I'm up about $20k YTD after getting smoked recently lol.

Without a doubt the most interesting pokervlogs on youtube. My cashgame skills and profit have improved a lot since watching Brad for some years now. After 20 years of playing, finally in profitville ❤
WOW, I would have convinced myself that he either had Q9 or QK on the flop and couldn't have made that call. Awesome that you did and the logic for doing so felt really sound too. I bet my opponent has it when I make the call though 🤣🤣
HERO CALL!!!! Brad you had me thinking you ended up loosing this one! Atta babe on listening to your instincts! Congratulations on being a new dad as well :)
you see, this is how mental freshness makes huge difference in your game. Always make sure before attending to any game you are mentally sharp, that is a huge plus to have.
On the hand where you had J10o (22:15) and you were contemplating calling turn, did you consider having the 10 of spades specifically would eliminate some of villains' combo draws in his range and weigh him more towards value? Or am I overthinking here and it's not that big of a consideration? Great vlog as always Brad!
Glad to see you book it! You're right about the quantity of clubs in Vegas especially since there is one right next to the room! Also since I'm a big Cincinnati Reds fan I hated hearing that Molina reference! 🤣
Great session! Thanks Brad. Do you think very often at how far you have come from when you first started posting to youtube? It's really impressive. The MUG idea from you and Andrew was great! Anyway just wanted to share my appreciation!
Thanks a lot. I often don't think about it because it's usually pretty overwhelming just getting through each week. I recently started writing motivational things on this whiteboard in my office though and coincidentally today I wrote, "Pause to reflect: your younger self wouldn't believe that you accomplished so much and came so far." I feel very fortunate to be in the position I'm in with so many opportunities. If I told the 16 yr old version of me all the cool things I've been a part of, he would be really proud. I can't take credit for the MUG idea though; that was all Andrew's concept. I'm glad he asked me to be his partner on it. Thanks again for the comment, it's always good to see you on here.
3:58 Brad mentioned an aggressive, well-known high stakes player earlier in the vlog. At this time stamp the whistle one of the players makes sounds very similar to a whistle I’ve heard Bill Perkins do, as early as The Big Game from the 2000s. Pretty sure that’s the well-known aggro player at the table
I remember watching you play online in like Mexico or something years ago now I come back and your doing this mad respect dude I can tell you like to have fun gambling and are really good at managing a bankroll awesome content
Your commentary is GOLD. I can’t wait for daughter to get out of college so I can afford to come play at the Lodge (in 23 yrs). 😂😂 Congrats on the baby! My daughter is turning 1 in a couple weeks and it’s been awesome.

I have watched you on and off from day one …it’s crazy how far you and neeme have come in life, game size, ability, crazy growth ….congrats on the family
There's so many times when Brad says he'd like to win without resistance, but I don't remember seeing that happen. I know it isn't as riveting for the vlog, but I would be really interested in seeing some hands where that actually happens. Maybe a compilation on the clips channel? Probably still wouldn't be worth the work of putting that together though.
