@@levijaroslaw9571 Peter's usual image is he always bluffs like crazy, he pretty much has had the same playstyle and image as keating, it was just crazy that he had so many nutted hands during this week against some pretty decent hands of the opponents as well.
You'd think Doug would invest $20 for a decent mic. Nope, still using the cereal box mic. I didn't even know they put mics in cereal boxes. I guess I learned something.
When I saw that KQ shove on the river against Keating he might as well just cover his entire head and face with a bear rug he's not paying attention anyway.
GREAT CONTENT. I am new to this game and from what I have learned calling a bet and then calling a 3Bet with Q9o is generally not a good move, is Texas Mike that good that he can play these hands profitably or is this just the definition of what not to do? I always get confused because in my head these people are supposed to be decent at the game?
Good vid as always but I think lacking some analysis in a few spots such as Texas Mike’s River decision for $200k more with 65o vs Keating. U seem to go really in depth on some parts of the hands and then glaze over other important parts
I think the idea should not be putting in $1mil preflop on a 50/50 that he didn't even know was a 50/50. If we are doing that might as well go down to the roulette table.

In the Keating Vs Texas Mike hand - 5h8h is the “stone cold nuts”. You just said it multiple times in the hand that Keating’s Ace Jack was the nuts. When in fact it does lose to the two possible straight flushes.
@sargambrown9185 Yes I know that it’s obviously LESS likely. Doesn’t mean that 58s isn’t the absolute nuts. And that AKh is the 3rd nuts. Regardless of if it’s likely or not likely. Texas Mike is holding 65o or whatever. So 58s isn’t too far off and could easily be in this psychos range. He’s Texas Fucking Mike.
Keating is originally a chess player, right?. He doesn't have that much experience in poker, but you'd never know. Watch him over the next 5 years. He's gonna realize his true equity as a player

Looks like they are teaming against dwan. NAw 4b the AQ if an A flops you wont get anymore money by calling pre. 100bb pot its just a jam. Mike must have a lot of money. Called for 588k when only committed 100k in the pot, while holding top pair with a Q kicker. i don't know what was he hoping for. The best case scenario is he's up against A5 of spade, and it's also a flip.
