      i could not see me folding that hand if i was hook, he was the one raising, hook should of accept that it was either a cooler meant to be or he had the nuts hand, and if he did some research he would know that texas might would bluff with nothing and he had a straight

    My thoughts on the less talk vs more talk argument in the 1M game are that the quiet is good because people are tense because its a lot of money on the line. The silence only adds authenticity to the gravity of the situation.

      And conversely when they're in a huge pot and all you hear is some mindless driveling half-story which none of the audience has context for can definitely take away from the magnitude of the moment, for sure

    Thanks for the great content and analysis. Great stuff
    However, I do miss the edits you usually have which switched more between yourself and moments of in the hand table chat.
    Without live table moments interspersed, the videos feel a little drier.
    When we get table clips with audio, the whole thing feels way more connected and alive.
    Either way thank you for the great content.

    so true about deep stack poker the way you play hands and the way you approach pots is so different. I think deep stack poker is the most pure form of poker. There are decisions on every street and so much variety in bet sizing and action.

    I love the comradery in games...thats how I run my home games. I understand a lot of people take it seriously and especially when there is big money involved, but at the same time you still want to enjoy your work and always be yourself. So I agree with you 100% I like to chat and all the while still have good poker etiquette

      Some of the best coaches were not the best players or even players. There aren’t that many winning poker players so i think it’s cool he’s giving context.

    yeah that 67s value bet from dan was weird. must have put mike on AA/AK specifically and thought he would get paid. blocker bet or check would have been my choice as well. good coverage doug!

    I think well rounded game as far as chatty to quiet. I personally like a those tense quiet moments.
