Garrett is a very good player no one can deny. With that said, I have never seen a player that runs better, EVER! Every hand in this video, he always runs sooo pure. If he needs to dodge 13 outs he does. If he has 8 outs he hits.
What you’re forgetting is what all of the “lucky” commenters are forgetting: we see probability 1/10 of 1% of all hands he plays. Like, a ridiculously minuscule amount. There are no math laws that state .001% (obviously just a guess of a tiny fraction) is enough of a test sample to determine anything. Pair that with the fact that these hands they show us are picked for excitement/clicks/views. Random cards are not lucky for 2 person and unlucky for another.
@JakeDarrow211 Actually they can be. Lots of people say that the cards even out over the long term. Well the long term is longer than the human life span. I started playing 5/5 pot limit holdem in the late 70's. I've know several, one in particular, players who just ran bad. All their lives. And even if the cards do break even, say comparing two players, what happens when one gets good cards when they have big stacks in big games. The other runs bad with big stacks in big games. And consider the flip sude ?
Playing against Garrett is like flushing your money down the toilet. Not only is he WAY too good, he makes nearly perfect decisions, and to top it off, his never ending run-good is the final boss. GL trying to win in a poker game with him at the table.
I don't get with all this tech how the chips aren't digitally tracked like the cards to have the total amount a player has shown on a screen in front of them? Would save so much time asking "how much you playing with" and then dealer counting.
10:48 bro says there's only been one "Asian on the cover of Wired magazine" in this stupid water = money conversion. There have been many. And that's a stupid 1% analogy, btw. The things that they say sometimes.
The equity calculation on-screen includes folded cards. Laak folded 10c and a 7(2 outs), Hicks folds a 6(1 out), JD folds Kc and 7(2 outs), Tan folds J6c(2 outs) and Masato folds a 7(1 out) so an equity calculator will still include those 8 outs.
Last time I saw Garrett in person, he was walking down a red carpet to say goodbye to a poker legend. It’s been 2 years and poker doesn’t feel the same without you. Long live Ramsey Doumani! Our brother, friend, poker legend, and guardian Angel 🙏
The biggest change you'll ever feel with $ is going from worrying about bills to not having to worry about bills, being able to save a bit and afford to have fun. I've met a lot of very rich people and believe me they're just as miserable as everyone else, dont let Instagram fool you.
It's great to see Garrett playing again. He's definitely the most interesting player to watch. I haven't watched that other site that Garrett played in since the cheating jack four hand . It's amazing that the guy that could see both hands came out and took 10k out of her pile of chips and it was ruled no cheating. When Nick Airball is the highlight player, how good is that game going to be ? Plus Nick can't hang with Garrett at the table, so he banned him . What a classless move was that ?
And he is asking for his money back 😂😂😂😂. Good thing was he didn't ask David when he was stack by him 10-5 offsuit and garreth has 8 high. David was laughing. Toying him as David is rich.
That was just crazy when you lose you lose , even though his opponent might misread the hand. I play poker for so many years and I lost times after times and I never ask for money back
People really expound the most mind numbing nonsense. This guy is a sun runner.. it’s as simple as that. He will play well.. but it’s easy when most things are just automatic.
One of the most import parts of live streaming is NOT addressing the chat during play. Every professional streamer knows this. If you compare people that do vs don't it's always amateur vs professional.
Pretty hilarious some guy talking about money being a burden. If it's a burden to him he should give it all away to charity and free himself of the burden. How delusional and narcissistic.
Ohh rule is you can only run it once? That’s very convenient for Garrett since he only likes running it once. I’m surprised there’s not a permanent straddle as well
He's plays the role of entitled rich kid but I love him. 😅. He's my favorite for sure in high stakes cash. Poor David getting wrecked but just smiles and laughs it off 😢😂
I skipped forward a dozen seconds when starting the video. the screen said Phil Laak and was showing JD. I thought Phil had aged horribly over the last couple years. LOL.
I think commentators should only be there to talk when there’s no table talk happening. But also, if there’s no table talk, you don’t have to fill every second with commentary. Not saying that’s what happened here, but just saying there needs to be a balance and commentators need to realize that they’re really on there to fill the dead air. But I guess that’s just my opinion. Maybe other people love it when the commentators are talking over the players and you can’t understand the players or really even the commentators since they’re all talking at the same time ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
2 people in the booth is to much always talking. We are also trying to hear the players. Not about you !!!!!
Absolutely!! Then one says Garrett with the monster A7 suited is not a monster preflop
Too*
For real. This isn’t football we don’t need commentary
Yeah.. that was so annoying.
And between the two of them unable to recognize the straight outs in the first hand
Garrett is without a doubt my favorite poker player to watch play. Glad to see him back in the action.
I thought his poker earnings would be huge, turn out his biggest win was 40k 😂
A crybaby when things don't go his way, according to him you gotta cheat to beat him
Literally has taken some of the worst beats ever with class in 500k pots against daniel Negreanu. Your a simp and its showing.@2nd2nonegambling15
Yet he still can't admit he was wrong about Robbi cheating. Sign of weak character
She thought he had ace high and called with j high. And was buddys with shady security. Not so sure he was wrong lol.
Running good, playing good...and looking good, is one dangerous combo.
He looks total average
Dude...he extracted maximum $ on that 8-6. I agree with the earlier comment. Running good AND playing good.
Dam... Get off those 🥜s

He's also good enough to just steal hands when he doesn't get there
LOL may I introduce to you a guy name Fedor Holtz.
If that’s all the hand he played and that’s the results!! something ain’t right lol
Playing against Garrett is like flushing your money down the toilet. Not only is he WAY too good, he makes nearly perfect decisions, and to top it off, his never ending run-good is the final boss. GL trying to win in a poker game with him at the table.
Daniel stacked him not long ago lol. He's not very good vs the top players.
Don’t play against him then. Cower in fear
yeah and if he loses he just demands it back like a baby. its a winning strategy for sure
@@michaelbelanger3373very standard hand. Nothing to glean from it
@@michaelbelanger3373oh he got beat once.. good to know. Lol
Is there a mute Phil Lock button?
I believe it's JD who you want muted. but yeah, usually we need a Phil Laak mute, you're right there.
@@xLxUxSxTx dude shut up 😆😆😆😆
They should mute out the life lecturing talk at the table. This is poker, not a philosophy class.
Yeah I love hearing 1%'ers talk about how having more money is harder.
And they should mute crybaby comments like this as well
Life lecturing talk was the most interesting part for myself
If laak is at the table you're getting a philosophy lesson
They don’t need the money and prefer a social game to keep it interesting…to them
David seems like such a cool guy . Good for the game
Take this L
Garrett is obviously a great player, but he also runs super pure when the big money goes in
Garrett is one of my favorite live poker players of all time, maybe my favorite.
Ok
how’s it taste eric?
@@ericeclifford yeah Eric, how does it taste
I agree eric
You ever think about muting the mics of those guys NOT in the hand? Damn.
Are you able to mute other players when you’re sitting in a real game? 😂
@mttmmedia well.........the place I play, people aren't begging for RUclips airtime.
I'm more interested in what the players are saying than the commentators

@benk2755 no from 5 years ago, when I was already asking😭
Hearing rich people saying stop worrying about money is priceless.

It's not like Garrett needs the help but he runs so well that it must be comical to him sometimes.
Why do you guys continously edit hands out of order?! Isn't it harder for the person clipping? Sucks for viewers anyway
He always seems to run good at the right time
David is worst player by far on stream
I have seen him fold pre flop twice
from about 500 hands he played so far
Are you complaining? You'd rather have a table full of nits? He made the game fun
this table is too weak for Gary, gotta have some great players to battle...
if one wants to be a winning poker player, you choose the weak tables.
equity calculator doesn't work. 73cc is favorite against a5dd on 543ccs
My heart goes out to that poor man who was talking about the burden and worries of having too much money. Poor fella.

Million dollar game where nobody has a million
All these people talking about the burden of money and not a single one of them giving it away. Instead they're all gambling it up trying to win more.
Hearing them talk about money made my stomach turn

how much is the rake in these games?
I'd assume there is no rake in streamed games but I could be crazy.

Welcome back Garrett.
What a fun player to watch and learn from
Bally is the perfect example of how NOT to run a poker live stream. 😂
So true
Tan is a super knit. Might aswell put a pylon in that seat.
Luck is not evenly distributed. I lose with KQ 95 percent of the time and some players win 80 % with KQ. I can’t fade outs, nor can I draw out.
g man printing like always
Listening to this dude ramble on about money for like 10 minutes is insane lmao. Dude can't stop yapping and his opinion is insane lmao
Guy is the ultimate luckbox just always holds when ahead it’s crazy
I’ve never seen anyone run like him.
oh be quiet, you would’ve folded that first hand then punt a few hands later
Thanks for condensing that for us...
When the cards is going your way everything is all good. But if it’s against you then it’s all feeling in hell

Get Garrett on stream every week. Pure Gold to watch
As good as garrett is, the deck always seems rigged in his favour. Flushes, hidden two pair, rivered trips. Kinda crazy how he always gets there
People really expound the most mind numbing nonsense. This guy is a sun runner.. it’s as simple as that. He will play well.. but it’s easy when most things are just automatic.
The A5 wasn’t automatic, that was a pretty sick call to be fair.

How does garret still get excepted after throwing a tantrum about being caught bluffing with j4.
Hes a big sooky
why can they only ever run it once at commerce?
Because the game isn't big enough...
no run twice i love
Garrett is the GOAT cash
Too much tanking. He never used to tank this much.
I don't know about you all, but the branding of this is confusing. Bally? Commerce? wait it's filmed in Vegas? nice marketing GG?
Percentages seem to be off on the first hand
Garrett has incredible luck with the run of cards he continues to get
Why does the description say in Las Vegas when this casino is in LA?
G Man back on the felt is what we need. Crusher
Am I losing my mind or does Laak have Laak drones on both sides of him???
Could their card graphics be any smaller? Need a magnifying glass watching it vertically on the phone. Sheesh
Rich guys talking about how little money matters, classic poker conversation
Did he crush it ?
Or just these hands ?
So nobody playing J4 against Garret?
I'm glad to see Garrett back!
Ofc the flush got there

Lousy small graphics hard to see the card suits😢😢😢

Garrett owns Hans soul
Han Soul-Lo from Star Wars
great plays, just the stingers come in quite abruptly, and annoying. maybe use fades haha
Why is no one talking about Garrett slow rolling?
I thought Masato was the little kid from The Grudge
Can only run it once?! GOOD
Why can't they run it twice?
Commentators need to be quiet…. Talking waaaaay too much
Good to see him back.
Perfect table for Garrett to dominate, 2EZ!
Let’s gooooo GMAN!
