Hello there!
It has been a while since I uploaded new video coz I had some comics commission I need to take care of. Aside from that, we may need some extra work since we are locked down from a virus.
Anyway, my wife has been requesting for Waking Up to continue. I thought maybe taking her for a shower. But we'll get flagged on a shower scene, so we thought of just giving her a nice hot coffee.
Ambient music are recycled, so we used it again to tell it's the same character. A little effort was put there on the background image...but her "stare" will still creeps you out. Haha!
I gave her dolphin shorts just to tell it is not a hentai!
I hope you all like this animation as it has been weeks (maybe a month) since I uploaded a video.
Brody is still in progress. Can't tell when it's going to be finished but it's almost in the coloring and background painting process.

How many years did it take you to master animation and pencil art?
I'm not a master in animation. I just like doing it. Drawing is fun for me, especially in comics. I worked in comics for more than 20 years.

@@jazdaogwq i have a drawing tablet tho. the perspectives and body part are just hard to draw in movement.

It's fantastic and my favourite part it was when you only used Krita to 90% of work!! I am still learning to use Krita and I discovered, I need to learn more of the program. :O And I want to do in a future animations, but I need to improve and to learn about it. ^^

Ed has a day job, inking and coloring for Marvel, DC, and Image. Stop asking him to make tutorials, everything you need is already on RUclips anyway.
It's okay. I wish Marvel will give me more projects. But RUclips might be my next home. Will make more videos of animation for you guys. ;)

I’ve always wanted to do everything frame by frame but it just takes so much time. I ended up using blender for some scenes. But got to admit nothing beats this 2D frame by frame look and feel..

Is the "camera stuff" animated in krita? And is there tweening?
In Krita everything is animated frame by frame. Even the cameras.

Yesterday was the first day I downloaded a copy of Krita great software for creating thumbnails as well but my artistic skills don't lend to this insane level😀😀

The eyes look a bit weird but i loved the animation. These videos help me animate better
What's weird about them?
The eyes looks like manga style but it's not really weird.
@@baptistewirz3342 the eyes do look weird when the face turns, the face shape and features turn masculine for a moment when she's facing the camera, but other than that it's really nice
I must say it is a...style? Hehe. No perfect consistency there but it was fun doing it.

If you know how to light a ball, then you can make light on everything. Learning to light an object starts from reference. Use some reference. ;)

I'm using 4.2.9. I tried 4.3beta it was faster when rendering. But it was a bit buggy, so I switch back.

Yes, I color each frame of the drawings.
