Nah just keep drawing everyday man. Draw from reference, learn and study from other artists, figure out how you want to draw. Dont do this all at once lol, itll take years and years. And one day when youre older, with enough practice and some good art schools, youll be as amazing as him or more or just enough. Its up to you though :>
new to animation.. everyone makes to much effort to come up with tricks to shorten the workflow... I love how you just get in there and do all the dirty work and make it look awesome!!.. I'm gonna try learning from you! sensei 💯
Thank you. I'm still learning in the animation part. There is no shortcut to everything. Everything started from manual application. You have all the control if you do it the hard way, in my case, that is. ;)
My professor thought us a basic animation when i was in college and its a nightmare, a 5 minute walking character is hard, the proportion the physics the distance the posture etc.lol
I agree with you! It looks so much more natural when you draw every image even if they are pretty much the same. But sometimes it is just easier to copy paste and skew an in-between 😅
Very nice! You know, you are the only artist ive seen that starts bodies with a long triangle shape then add the torso on top. Its so different yet effective. Always nice to see your work. This was so smooth and fluid!
All this time of hard work and the loss of time for a short scene displayed a few seconds of the whole show which takes days to complete . I am amazed by your determination and your wonderful work in creativity ❤
Aparently it takes an entire year to do one episode of family guy. They work on them back to back which is why they are produced so frequently. At first I thought this was ludicrous but after watching a few of this dudes animations I'm slowly starting to realise why.
@@Randomotaku58 Krita is on windows too but I think Opentoonz or Tahoma2d since they're mainly for animation purposes Two of them are free but if for pro purpose adobe flash
You’re a talented guy. I know you will go far in the comic / animation industry because you have a skill that separates the men from the boys - dedication! You had the patience to do this whole animation and I also watched your inking of wolverine and Psylocke - that was an incredibly detailed image why you rendered very accurately. Best of luck with your art.
This rlly cool! Big thx for this video! I started work with animation in "Krita" (ver. 4.4.5) and your video give me some art cheats and pipe-line method!
I enjoyed it, I enjoyed it, I enjoyed it! his is the most detailed I have seen. A REAL form of Modern Art. There are sick modern artist, as if they know art. This kind is repected by classical artist because we can see form, life, color and movement, even if it is just a comic piece respect is there. Very inspiring!!!
Your work is amazing, but once you drew the tentacle, my mind couldn't escape the idea that this was him narrowly escaping someone's tentacle fantasy. Would've made good r34.
So glad I've stumbled across your channel. So lovely to see the entire process and to showcase the amount of work that goes into animating. Very inspiring.
this is so amazing i watch all the anime drawing i really liked the tomb raider i love your drawing videos it inspires me to be a better drawer thank you
Wowww fantastic.. it was awesome... now i really knew when I saw it with my own eyes .. what step-by-step complete animation looks like... It was awesome... thanks dude.
to guys arguing about Krita having or not having features: Krita is an ongoing open source project, it didn't have a lot of features not so long ago, and it will have more of them and improved soon enough, you can support the project yourself. and it will not die. in open source world the worst thing that can happen is a change of name, or daily improvements. Look at Blender. Before I sneezed it was at 3.0 version, now its 3.2... Once you install the newest version there is a newer one already.
This is exactly why using 3D models that render into flat cartoons is way better. You can animate the same object with the same lighting and shading without having to draw it all each time.
hey ed i made animation too, but not in krita. im kind a excited with the glowing effect on wolverine claws, how you add that fx? or you using another software? thanks
Looks like you do your animations different than me, i was personally taught to always make layers of reusable parts, it makes animating much faster, that's why i use blender and synfig, both automatically create layers for every object you make plus they are both free so i can use them as a student.
Also , there is a faster way of flatting in krita now, using colorize mask , its incredibly efficient , kinda brings my coloring step to half the time.
Honestly, it is boring as it seems. But if you love your work, you can have bunch of patience around you. You can always take a break. You don't have to do 10 second of animation in one sitting. :)
Frame by frame at this level?!! RESPECT
could you explain what you mean?
It means drawing everything and not just using the copy paste and the lasso tool
I could do that animation. And finish it in 1000+ years. Amazing work bro
LOL!
😂😂. Amazing work. Keep it on

Didn’t realize krita was this powerful. This could be a nice competitor to tvpaint
i think its much better than tv paint ...
I can't, for the life of me, understand why Adobe Animate doesn't have bitmap brushes yet? They should marry *Photoshop* & *Animate* together.
Kridian01 that’s because they just bought macromedia flash and did nothing but rebrand it pretty much
I prefer TVPaint or Clip Studio Paint.
RETAS PRO is way superior than either of them

I had hard time doing run cycle and u doing this,I just want to say this respect bro.
I honestly hate run cycle coz it is hard. You know a good run cycle when you see one. I can't make a good run cycle myself. -_-
Well, both of you can draw properly at least compared to me (I can't, my skill sucks)
Dude that was awesome this scene made Wolverine cooler than Batman.
LOL! Yeah. But Batman is cooler because he's got a car. ;) Thanks for the comment! ^_^
That's so cool! I'm lovin' the amount of detail. Those claws flashing is awesome
Thank you! I can't wait to do more cool animations. ^_^

i know right . i can't flash animator but i love how good they are with motion in the fights

Incredible work! Looks amazing and I didn't realize krita could do this now

Krita has honestly become amazing over the years.
The patience and will that I aspire to have! This is amazing! You deserve so much more recognition & subs omg
Really great job. Finally found an animator with a good knowledge of the human anatomy. Go on this way 🤙🏾
You make it look so blatantly easy! Good job there
You could've just stopped at the test rendering phase and it still would've been awesome! Thanks for making this...really!
Yeah, I wish to do that but I want to how far Krita can handle, which includes full color and background. ^_^ Cheers!
Yeah, this my new most favorite youtube video.
Holy moly. This is superb work! I only just started animating in Krita and I hadn't seen such wonderful work just from Krita until now. Kudos to you.
Awesome rendition on the poses. It is very revealing of the actions intended. I think your pose to pose approach and anatomy makes it all look easy.
man i wish i had half the patience that this took you. it looks absolutely stunning
Wow!
Really look forward to your next work, especially now Krita 5.0 is just out!
