This animated film is a detailed description of what life for the poor living in the slums is in Mumbai even after a decade nothing much has changed and this film is relatable even to this day. Really well done .
"I am glad that I have a toilet in my house so that I don't have to struggle." was the thought that came into my mind. The research in this film is really visible. I enjoyed. It wasn't rushed but nicely put.

Idk whether you read this msg or not as a student of political science your msg is so inspiring we saw 2 sides to life in this short animation one of a rich person when on the radio the politician said ya we made 5 flyovers and 3 are under construction and on the other when a caller said flyover is fine but we need the toilet to go and on that the RJ said that we'll talk about that later but first let me play his fav song. Another thing the fight between the gundas and our normal man who can't fights because he's just a layman. And last our middle-class families, where they are closing their noses thinking these people are so bad and cheap but at the same time we need to question our political parties, are they doing their part? I am living in a slum of Mumbai from my childhood but I have fridge, LCD tv, scooty, 24 hour water supply and I am currently a software engineer but I can't afford to buy a good house in Mumbai because it's very expensive. In Mumbai, Most of the middle class people also live in Slums, because the prices of flats are very much expensive. I still use public toilet but it is not that crowded, this things can be happen in Dharavi or any other densely populated slum of Mumbai

I did some research about the animator, and it turns out he was a student at the national institute of design for which this project was made. He co-founded his animation studio, BlackBirdDesign, which is in Andheri East, Mumbai. Before this, after graduation in 2011, he did freelancing for 4 months before becoming the lead animator at Tata Interactive Systems in 2012 for 2 years before switching to Zee Entertainment as an executive producer until 2017, after which he established his own studio in mumbai. I somehow managed to found his adress, phone number and mail but I wil keep that for other day... dayum it's crazy how much you can do with internet these days. lol. Also this project was made by two guys name Rajesh thakare and rovy asanth. I mentioned everything about Rajesh because he was the heavy lifter in the project

I've seen drastic changes in people lifestyles, cleaner toilets, tourist places even my village & cities I've lived in past. Swatch bharat is a success, people always needed cleanness, it's just a name & marketing to motivate them. Also this time GOI have done good work even on the ground. Now the most complains are due to political ideology or lack of actions from the complaining people & their authorities
although i haven't traveled much by train as a 17yo but a few times I've traveled i can relate it .....its not easy to live a middle class life in mumbai and slum life is harsh .... grateful... nicely portrayed .....you'll not know others situation untill you've been through it........sometimes i get disgusted by their circumstances but they cant really do anything,.......

What an amazing film encompassing such big and small issues, of how the poor are exploited, how their voices go unheard. Every little detail in the film is so brilliantly portrayed with amazing and high quality art. I had to pause every scene just to observe the art. This film is a treasure. I've seen drastic changes in people lifestyles, cleaner toilets, tourist places even my village & cities I've lived in past. Swatch bharat is a success, people always needed cleanness, it's just a name & marketing to motivate them. Also this time GOI have done good work even on the ground.
Now the most complains are due to political ideology or lack of actions from the complaining people & their authorities

although i haven't traveled much by train as a 17yo but a few times I've traveled i can relate it .....its not easy to live a middle class life in mumbai and slum life is harsh .... grateful... nicely portrayed .....you'll not know others situation untill you've been through it........sometimes i get disgusted by their circumstances but they cant really do anything,.......
