I played one round with this driver and the initial impression is that it will stay in the bag. I play a minimalist 8 club set so this is really changing the top end of my bag. I hit it off the deck as well as any 3 wood I've ever had and I found more fairways in my first round out than usual off the tee.
This is my plan Alex. If this thing can get me 15-20yds more than my 3 wood I'm happy to throw the driver in the garage and just use the mini as my driver and use my 3 wood as I normally would. Club is on order, see how it pans out over this summer. I like the idea of lofting down and opening the face, should hopefully help keep the hooks in control as well.

I left it at 11.5, hit 8 of 11 fairways but only really hit it on the screws 1-2 times, but man when I did it took off! Conditions are still too soft to determine how it compares to my actual driver but it sure is nice looking at address.
@@DiehardGamerbro I played a whole 1 more round with it, hurt my back and now we're in lockdown. I hit it about the same as the first go, finding the sweet spot only 1-2 times. I did hit it a good 20yds further than I've ever hit my 3-wood on 1 hole, so that's got me hopeful. I'd say so far it has the potential but finding the screws has been difficult. I know at some point I'll be throwing a different shaft in it but I really want to give this stock shaft a fair shake before making any changes. I miss golf!! ...and sports...and the pub!
I like the idea of a smaller-headed 'driver' but I don't think this club reaches the low-degree settings I would want; ~9ish. Off the deck with this technology....there are 3 woods out there built for the job specifically. I'm interested in the Mini and I will test one if I get the chance, but I'm really interested in Titleists' upcoming offering of the TS4 driver; basically a lower CC head with TS2/3 attributes. That being said, I think there is a market for this club, like you said, for people that don't like the larger headed drivers and maybe this can take the place of two clubs in their bag....freeing up space for a hybrid or another wedge. Great review. Would’ve been nice to see how it performed off a tee with it at 11.5 loft. I bet you’d get 500rpm less spin and perhaps 1mph faster ball speed.
These are great clubs, I’ve hit one a few times and they really are fairway finders and go long! I personally would just have trouble replacing my driver with one and I hit my 3 wood long enough to never really need a driver off the deck so I probably wouldn’t buy one but a great club nonetheless.

No one seems to talk about dropping the 11.5 to 9.5, playing it as a Driver exclusiely and keeping the 3-wood in the bag. Seems like a no brainer.

That is what I am doing 11.5 down to 9.5.

Always loved my Cobra small headed driver so I'm loving this driver, good vid.

I love using my 3 wood off the deck and this could allow me to reach some par 5s in two and short par 4s.

Wouldn't drop the 3 wood as I think 3 wood is more versatile.
You should test this head to head vs the Aeroburner Mini.
I think the aeroburner was a very underrated driver I would be interested to see these 2 go head to head I think I might drop ali taylor a line!
Definitely not for me and not sure who this Club is actually aimed at and who will put it in their Bag.
