- I'm (half) kidding. OP2 is a great STALKER experience and if it sounds like something you can get into, definitely give it a try! But it's definitely not for everyone, maybe you'll enjoy watching me suffer more than trying it yourself ahahh!
I followed the advice I gave in my review video by going completely blind into the mod (this was recorded before the review and the tips video, so I had absolutely no idea what to expect).

- For the people who ask often, I can't stream, my internet is too slow, so that's the best you'll get for now! It's frustrating because this format would be perfect to stream. One day hopefully!
- RUclips put 33 ad breaks by default on this video. 33! This is getting absolutely ridiculous. I manually removed 2/3 of them, like I do in most of my videos, as I believe people not using AdBlock to support creators shouldn't be punished for it by an ungodly amount of ads. I feel they'll take away this ability from creators at some point, the same way they removed the possibility to choose between skippable/unskippable ads.
Greed is slowly killing this platform. I'm not sure what to do about it, just needed to rant a bit. Enjoy the video
if RUclips put 33 ads, that doesn't mean people will get 33 ad breaks, some people will get 10, some 20, ads are really weird thing on youtube.
@@RmXs Yeah I know, but the "default" placements have gotten so much worse. I used to remove at least half of what YT put by default, these days it's at least 2/3 to go back to a "reasonable" amount.

What needs to happen is more biggedr youtubers voicing that they are going to leave the platform for something like Rumble or w/e/ Either youtube fixes their garbage choices or they lose a large group of revenue generation. Thats what I think should happen and by no means am I an expert in these things.
From few weeks when you wait and press skip ad it will lead to another ad where you have to wait to skip. From time to time I have 2 unskippable 18 seconds ad's

That cave at the beginning sequance reminded me how people complained about the whole "Illuminati"/Enlightened sub-plot/secret in Lost Alpha. When I found out that there is a whole secret ending to the game, it made me want to replay that mod and I remember being genuinely invested in the plot (even if it was, at times, a bit cringe, but so was I back then, and also quite buggy). In fact, it was the only reason why I kept playing Lost Alpha, and when it was cut I basically lost all interest in Lost Alpha
The cutscenes were cut,but you can still get the ending
I slightly suffered at the beginning of the video, since I noticed you didn't read what the guy who found you had to say. He warned you about the military, he explained how to approach them, and where to look for a gift for them so that they don't shoot you while going under the bridge. xD
OP 2.2 is pretty fun but without the wiki I'd have smashed several keyboards by now
Some of the stuff you get surprised by is just vanilla SoC. Like for one example 54:15, or meeting Fox, or the military in the underground.

I've played and finished NS2016. Played OP 2,1 and got filtered by "Razor for Wolf" quest. Don't have masochistic tendencies for that. I would rather play some soulslike at this point... or other mods like AREA or Secret Trials 2 (finished like 1/2 of the mod iirc?). BTW good luck with NLC if you dare to try it. As for mods where you have to read - Pause button is your friend. No fear of getting jumped by mutants or enemy humans.
pause button is a life saver for real. i learned to use it from nlc7 and now i use it in every game and mod

In Wolf's razor, you can kill all this (including bloodsuckers) with 3-4 grenades, since the zombies are vulnerable to explosives. That's the thing about OP-2, some quests that look crazy at first become trivial if you understand the mechanics.
Wait till you get to save the piglet in forgotten forest while a swarm of bees makes you bleed in exosuit.

Did I miss something or is he complaining about the difficulty of a part (Agroprom military base etc.) that's pretty much the same as in vanilla SoC? Not that it wasn't difficult there as well, the military base was also a "hide & savescum" situation for me, but it seems like that's not the mod being difficult, that's just Stalker being Stalker.

This mod is fucking insane, I've been playing it since you made your first video on it and I'm still not done with the SoC questline. There's so much content that it can quickly become overwhelming, and if you don't pace yourself you might just get burned out on the amount of shit to do in this mod.
I have one request @CheekiBreekiTv . Can you make another video for fps boost for stalker gamma as the newer versions of the game are without the shaders and with some changes
Best FPS I got before in GAMMA was 40. Now it's worse. And the radiation is way worse too it seems.

If I remember correctly it's in Clear Sky that you talk to the bandits once reaching garbage for the first time. Can even become part of the bandit faction if you don't shoot them.

Oh man. I've played AMK mod in 2008 which was revolutionary at the time (they implemented the idea of stalker chat, artifact transmuting, real ballistics and more), then I've played Narodnaya Solyanka ("Solyanka" is a russian soup originally made from what you find in your refrigerator after big holidays) in 2009-2010, which was AMK mod, New Level Changers, new questlines, some weapons mods and more. In 2011-2012 there was a big boy - Объединённый оружейный пак (cumulative weapons pack) - NS + pretty big weapons pack + new locations + even more new questlines which includes infamous collector's stashes.
May 2013. I still remember this day - the day when this bloated ugly motherfucker called OP-2 was released from the depths of delirious slav minds. I played this fucking mod for a whole month and boy oh boy what a trip it was. I hated every second playing OP-2 but I was curious - what kind of fuckery will surprise me next time? And I shit you not - they never failed me doing so.

Well, I understand why people played and play Solyanki here. But what I don’t understand is why people from Western Europe, the USA, Scandinavian countries play this. You have modern hardware and video cards, ultra-wide monitors and consoles, RTX and any games of your choice. In this case, spending time on op2 is extremely inappropriate.
Because people find entertainment in games/mods so bad that end up being good

Not played OP2, but the longest lets play I ever watched all off was some 350 episode Stalker Soup blind playthrough. Never played it myself - it looks way too janky and difficult. Closest I got was playing the SGM mod for Call of Pripyat MANY years ago. Honestly the best gaming experience I ever had, even compared to the more modern mods like Anomaly and those built upon it.

@@kevorkyijan118 Heh it's complicated, there's actually multiple "storylines". First you start with the normal SoC story, but on top of that you have the Solyanka storyline and the Cumulative Pack storyline. It's also kind of a looting game, the mod lasts for hundreds of hours and throughout you'll accumulate hundreds of different items that you'll have to stash. Some items are quest related, some are useful for exchanges, lots of different ammo types and so many guns.
