Im going to see this performance today for my birthday. Can totally hear you tearing up in this end and I have no doubt i will do the same when I see it. So excited. Enjoyed your capture of this.
Just attended the one in Richmond, VA last night. It was absolutely incredible. Only gripe was I wish the symphony in Richmond had more brass instruments for certain songs like Custom Valkyrie.
Woah, cool, just checked out your channel and I think you're clearly visible in the choir in the video. Check it out, I zoom in a few times. Whether you think you all needed more time or not, myself and everyone I was with think (know) that you all absolutely killed it. Awesome job!
@@Mattimeoo haha yeap they put me in front. Yea I was looking to see if I could find any recordings online of it. Thanks for sharing, and glad you enjoyed it! It was a grind to learn in 5 days before the performance but I think it went pretty well all things considered😅
@@Francesco-von-Buelow Well if you were looking for a video with you particularly visible in that massive crowd, I think you've found one haha. If it matters to you, the video was from Box X. And you're welcome, thanks for putting on an awesome show! And dang, FIVE days?! Were you familiar with the source material before that? Or were you pretty much thrown to the wolves?
@@Mattimeoo nope never heard it before😂 it was the same for everyone else in the choir a few of them were pretty familiar with it and the game but otherwise it was all new for us. Not sure what happened but we made it work lol
@@Francesco-von-Buelow Well, in that case it's even more impressive. 5 days prior to that level? That's wild. You should really check out the Final Fantasy VII Remake and Rebirth games. From story, the music, to everything, it possibly the best done, most well polished game ever made to date. The story alone is worth it even playing the PlayStation 1 version today.
Oh wow you were on the balcony for this?! That must've been amazing!! I ended up getting really far back seats but loved it none the less!! Was amazing to be surrounded by so many ff7 fans
Yep, we had box seating in the front, it was perfect! Yeah I was wondering how the acoustics would sound more centered in the middle up top and below. And yup, awesome night!
You're welcome! I'm glad you were able to find it! How much did they get up to?! I bought my tickets literally the moment they were released. One of the rare times I wound up checking a marketing e-mail turned out to be a good thing haha.
@@Kensoy83 Whaaaat?! That's wild. Normally, with no scalping and at launch, the most expensive seats were the box seats and they were like ~$140. If upper/back were that much I'm curious as to how much they were trying to hustle box seats for.
@@Mattimeoo Yea, the crazy thing is that I almost bought a very close seat for $120 a few weeks back which I regret it. During the last week or 2, I couldn't find one under 400 ish. sad...
Yup, got really lucky! Bought tickets the moment they were released. I heard they got pretty pricey, so glad I was able to get 'em at normal price. Box seats rule.
Unfortunately not, sorry. I didn't really record anything else aside from the final portion, just snapped a few pictures. I didn't want to really record at all but at the end I was like "I gotta secure these bragging rights."

I was in Richmond VA as well that night! I was blown away by the whole experience.
I was there too! Shoulder to shoulder. Whoever made those seats hates sitting lol.
@@Seoh65 thankfully an older couple beside me got up and left before the show started so I had one side empty 😂
Wish they had given us more time to learn the music tbh

How long was the concert? I'm going to the New York concert in January and kinda curious.
It was roughly two hours long.
Nice!! Do you have a recording the the Stamp Medley?
