I love layer cakes!! Same reasons they are precut and also all the fabrics in the line. They also make a decent sized quilt with borders and sashing. Love how your new haircut frames your face!! Very nice!!

Thank you! I didn't want to cut my hair since I do prefer it long. I was getting so hot and my hair is so heavy. I needed a change! Hopefully my hair still grows as fast as it used to!

If you get diagonal seam tape and put on your sewing machine that will help sewing from corner to corner. That way you don't have to draw your lines, it saves so much time

I love precuts because I don't have any room in my "very, very" small cottage to store large fabric pieces or begin to "collect" fabrics I like :) . So I purchase the precuts and begin to create :)

I’m not going to lie, I almost cried when I first saw my hair! But I really needed to cut it. My hair is so thick and heavy. I was so hot and would get headaches from the weight.

what is your little handle on your square rulers? How are they affixed to the rulers?
Me and my husband make the rulers. He cuts the templates on a laser and then he drills the hole for the handle. The hole is sunk so that the screw doesnt touch the fabric. They are available in our shop.
I cut those peaks if I can.
I really should do that! It would really help with lining up seams.

Love your hair. You’ve had long hair for a really long time, does it feel a bit strange with it shorter? When I saw the clip for the argyle style quilt at the beginning, I thought you could do a real argyle quilt with your diamond rulers. Have you already done one and I’ve missed it?
It took some getting used to! It is strange having short hair!
