Nice! Did you do the updated rear leaf springs as well? If so, was the rear wheels pushed up towards the front of the fender? Because it appears that’s the case on this truck.
@@johnpatterson3598 I’m actually going down to cjc tomorrow to now get all new dominator shocks but 4.5” lift this time…and yes i did and it is normal for the wheel to be pushed forward…they do that on purpose so that when the axle cycles upwards it will clear and not hit your fenders anywhere. You are good to go! I actually had the same question when I first installed it and they said it’s made this way purposely.
@@Daniel-1-1-1 Have you had your truck out and really cycled the suspension? Mine definitely rubs the forward part of the rear fender. Mine has rubbed when going very slow through rough terrain that really cycles the suspension - very deep ruts or holes on one side of truck. And I am running a small 37 (BFG KO2)
@@jackg8478 I did a full flex when I had the leveling kit and it got really close but didn’t rub…I haven’t tried it yet with the 4.5” lift. Could it be your wheel backspacing?
I’m getting my new F250 Tremor any day now. The Carli Pintop is getting put on by the dealer next Thursday. I’m so excited. I ordered the truck last September.
I'm planning on doing the 4.5 dominator on my 2001 in conjunction with an axle swap. After reading countless forum posts and looking at the parts list, it doesn't seem like something too difficult to tackle for a shade tree mechanic.
I have 2 different questions I would love to see answered or a video on. 1. Suspensions from cari for the 2011-2016 super duty’s. 2. I have the 2.5” dominator on my 2015 f250. I have the full spring pack in the back. I finally measure my rake and there is a 2.5” difference front to back. Could you all do a video talking about the full leaf kit differences someone could see? Like on the 2.5 vs 4.5 and what you will see over factory springs? Also mine are not the heavy duty ones rated for 1000lbs in the bed constantly. Thanks!
Thank you so much for the video. It appears that the rear tires & wheels were moved forward after the leaf spring swap & they don’t look to be centered in the rear wheel well. Is this true?
It's likely just something with the angle of the video. Keep in mind though that the axle moves forward under droop and rearward under compression on these trucks as the leaf springs cycle, so it's normal to see it vary depending on the position of the suspension.
This is what I’m wondering as well. It appears the leaf swap moved the tires/wheels up in the rear fender wells. If that’s the case for them all, then I’ll just opt for their stock full progressive leafs because I want a 2.5” level with 37’s, so I know they’ll hit 😅
I have an ‘06 F250 myself that has a 2” leveling puck kit on the front and 35” tires. The rear has stock F350 springs (being it has the slide in camper package) but only the 2” block (for the standard 250) instead of the 4” block (for the 350). With the system on the truck in this video, do you have any idea what the measurement is to the bottom of the door or sill plate? I’m trying to compare the difference between the two because I would LOVE to put the 4.5” Pintop on my truck, but my wife has a bad back and she may have a difficulty getting in. I may have to stick with the 2.5” system. I do, though, plan to install the Amp Research XL Powersteps to help her either way….thanks in advance for any information you may be able to provide me.
Beautiful truck! Just wondering if a Carli suspension long arm kit for a 05 Dodge 2500 6.7 Cummins is a good option for off-roading on the weekends to towing on the week every now and then?
Great truck! Just wondering if the 3in 03-09 Dodge 2500 Carli suspension lift with the King shocks is the best way to go with all around driving, light off-roading on the weekends, and towing occasionally?
Our recommendation for you would either be the Carli Backcountry system, or the pintop system. Both will be a huge improvement over stock. The Backcountry will be a hair smoother around town, but the pintop will have more high speed off road capability. It all depends on how you thing you'll use the truck!

Just wanted to say congratulations on these east coast RUclipsrs catching on that they need to stop using those worthless lift kits and pucks they use in there builds. I've told them on every Ford or Ram build that they need to put a Carli suspension on instead of the junk they been doing. Not saying it was me that made them to start using Carli but I always comment on their builds would be so much better if they would put a Carli suspension on. I just seen GREG_ALBERALLA putting Carli on his Ram 3500 dually and I was so stoked to see that. I know DURTYMAX JACK finally did a giveaway Ram that he put a Carli suspension on. Now StreetSpeed 707 if he does another Ram build needs to put Carli on it. He likes jumping everything and I know he would be blown away how a Carli suspension handles a jump.
