That first song doesn't praise Jesus. Jews are still waiting for a Savior and they don't recognize Jesus as a Savior. I love this song for music aspects but the lyrics are at odds with what I think

@@MrHexiorthe first Christians were Jews that knew indeed their Messiah had finally come. The Apostle Peter and Paul, Matthew, Mark, James, Jude etc., were Jews. Jesus is the promised Messiah of the Hebrew Scriptures that many Jews rejected Him does not change that fact one iota.

I strongly believe this is no accident you founding this video and making a comment. I also really believe God is revealing himself to you through this video. Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through me." Just take a minute and tell Jesus you need him, tell him you are sorry for the things you know are wrong, ask Him to come into your heart and be my Lord and Savior. God knows your heart. Anyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Find a Christian Church and tell them you met Jesus through youtube video. I think that's awesome :)

i found Jesus earlier this year. at age 41. took me til then. but found hope through Jesus and strength through the bible. Wisdom and enlightenment. there's a lot of negativity about christianity. don't believe it. the message of Jesus and the guidance of God still holds true

I left the Church a long time ago, before I was diagnosed with a rather serious mental illness which makes little room for hope or joy. I discovered your talented family through this video; the song is one of my Christmas favorites. You all are wonderful and Julianne's voice haunts me. Thank you for what you do and Merry Christmas.
I prayed for you and that God would heal and provide you with His peace. It is not the Church but our Lord and Savior Jesus.... so many people are hurt by the "earthly" church and the sinners who are there. That is not God's plan.
Christ stands with open arms to receive you back into Him. He alone satisfies our longings. I too have cancer and through the entire ordeal Christ alone has provide solace. Hold tightly to what your have in Christ for the rewards will be great--His words but mine.

Yes.......the LORD GOD is with them. They are born again Christians. Emmanuel means "God With Us". I believe they have all prayed to receive Jesus as their personal LORD & SAVIOUR. Once you have Jesus, nothing can separate you from His love.

The 1st time I heard the 1st 30 seconds of this video, I couldn't breath, had goose bumps and every hair on my back stood on end. The whole song is amazing but that intro is very unique and just amazing. This is my go to Christmas song.

Amen, that's what I like to refer to as spirit bumps! No matter how bad my day is I can turn on the Petersons and I go to bed smiling! With all the evil in the world its nice to know there are still good people in the world. The Peterson family is a breath of fresh air and I praise God to have found them. Their music takes me away to a better place and I am so grateful for that. Their love for the lord is expressed so beautifully through the music they sing and I hope to and look forward to watching them for many more years to come.

The Petersens alone have had an enormous effect on my morale. Not just the way they bring this music to us, but the way they conduct themselves. My internal battle started long before I can remember now, but the existence of this glimmer of hope brings a feeling I do not recognize. It's difficult to explain. I want to reach out for help, but I don't know how.
Just give your life to JESUS! That is who they are singing about. Only Jesus gives us hope in this dark world! He defeated Satan and paid for our sins at the cross. Three days later He rose from the dead and is coming back soon!

I'm a metalhead at heart but appreciate all good music. I originally stumbled on this group because of the dobro, one of my favorite sounds on Earth, and this dude crushes it. Being said, I've heard many versions of this song (even a metal one), and I have to say this talented kid's voice was hand selected from on high to sing this song, I am in complete disbelief. Absolute chills, well done.. Her technique to sound the "L" in Emmanuel and Israel as "W" is so beautiful I could collapse. Watch her sister even look at her with complete pride and jubilation, as if she is experiencing the same as I. What a gift this family gives to the planet. Warms a heathen's heart.

I used to be metal head... still am. But the band's have changed LOL. since I repented of my sin and let Jesus be my Lord & Savior. Maybe This Christmas give that little baby some room and you will find him Lord & Savior. Given all that's going on in the world this might be the last Christmas you get the chance. Praying for you!

They made the refrain work so much better than the original hymn - it always felt like a shrill bugle blast to me after the sad subtle notes of the verses , and they did a great job smoothing it out but not corrupting the original intent. Very pleasing to the ears!
It's a week before the 2020 election. Covid is high and I needed a spiritual lift. This was perfect. Simply beautiful.

Fires were bad, but nowhere near the worst. Look at 1967, worse, and in 1859 they had 53.5 maximum and that week, half the state of Victoria was destroyed by fire. 500 died with a population a quarter what it is now. One family lost all SIX children 😩
The forest rejuvenates itself this way.
Humans are such fools.... If we put fires out fires out, we must remember to clean up the unburnt fuel or it gets much worse next time.
You can go out now, and what was burnt is now bright green with new plants.
