Will we ever get a bike game with decent water spray in the rain. It should be almost impossible to see behind the other bikes in the pouring rain, the formula one games so really good wet weather spray effects
Riders hand still passes clean through the handlebars during the animated celebration! 😂😂😂 I started making a list of issues I found in my standard copy for the Xbox series X, but became such a list I stopped counting as it was becoming soul destroying! 😂 Love the game, love the title/series, I have big respect for the developers/studio.. I just wish it was easier to feedback glitches and errors. 😕 Nice video Robo! 👌✌️
Actually the most important thing is to upgrade the brakes and tires if you don’t have enough for everything else start with those and you’ll see huge improvement in times for only 15,000 credits/bike
Still the brake discs and the chain are no solid pieces and you can partly see throug it when you look at it an a angle. What about the brake calipers? Do they change with the upgrade to bigger/better discs? Or do they stay in place and look horendous inside the bigger discs? Still way to less tuning and cosmetic possibilities compared to previous games or even to their MX games... 🤔🧐
I see there are no rain trails on the road. Unfortunately looks like it is not rendered at 4k, I could see it on my Series X-TV too. But still at least we got 60fps...
Those bike models are borderline forza/ gran turismo standard now on my series x. Fucking fantastic. I only wish they would let us zoom in more to look at them more closely in the garage.

This is now as close as it’s ever been in my opinion. Not quite there.... but very close.
Robo i need your help/opinion, I am using an old box 360 controller, getting the newest controller would help me? The gas and accel are very hard to control for me, I wonder if the newest one has a better axis on the new controller. Not the elite one, that is too expensive. Even the new model from the new Xbox is really expensive for me at the moment. Ideally would be to have PS5 controller..but yea..heard that is hard to make work on a PC
Honestly I would recommend a standard Xbox one controller, you’ll be used to the button and stick layout from the 360 controller, I use a standard Xbox one controller when I’m testing TrackDayR.
I lost my ps4 save when I downloaded the ps5 version I was nearly level 100 is it my fault? I played the ps4 version on my ps5 and now am playing it as well on the same ps5 but it’s not a patch, it’s a separate game altogether, do I have to have both downloaded at the same time or what
I've got both versions on my PS5, I've heard you can't transfer your saves over, I got up to level 75 but starting the PS5 version it's put me back at the beginning
I've been testing this on my Series S today, was hoping for 1440p, but looks like 1080p to me. Still a lot better than the One S version and the 60fps makes a huge difference. It seems they have downgraded the Series S version a little, to keep the stable 60fps. I went to Brands Hatch GP and there's a lot less trees, most notably on the approach to Sheene's corner, dead ahead there's a big gap with no trees, that wasn't the case on the One S version. Not a big deal and won't be really noticeable on other tracks, but with brands being so enclosed within the trees, it stood out like a sore thumb.
@@cheesetoastie9678 I bought this for the series S on sunday, and it looked absolutely terrible to me. Blurry textures everywhere and black dots on the shadows ( think thats just the unreal engine though). Not impressed with the optimizations at all on the S.
@@hill1975 I haven't played in quite a while, got sick of waiting and hoping they'd bring back the old physics, plus the AI issues. There were definitely compromises to get it running at 60 fps, I'd still take the 60 fps version over what we had before though. Shadows is likely UE, as you say.

20 riders is nice, I guess, although there's hardly any point with all that rubber-banding. Any other improvements other than the graphics? Do the endurance races make sense yet?
Just a thought and if you’ve already addressed this then sorry but seeing as you absolutely whip the ai, have you thought about nerfing the bike you’re on to be similar to the ai bikes? Just to make a race of it, nice one rob.
I really don't know if it's worth starting over for the PS5 version. All that grinding for nothing. I think I might just move on. They should have told us about this before now.
Ok so this is first person I see with same issue I was level 101 . Back to zip with no bikes. Pretty frustrating after putting over 30 hours into the game to find out it was all for nothing
@@ROBO46 I find doing career stuff again isn't so bad, but for me, losing all the liveries and stuff is the worse part. Different pool of content there so hours of designing gone
The update just brought consoles up to PC's highest settings, or near enough. The only thing missing from PC is the 20 rider races, which is a bloody shame. I'd be very surprised and annoyed if it isn't in the next update for you.

Fifa 21 is the last game that tricked me with the free upgrade nonsense. I'm not purchasing a single ps5 game in the name of free upgrade for double the price. I'll keep enjoying my ps4 games with higher framerate

I can clearly see the improvement of the graphics, even on youtube at 360 setting. The playback on TV Cam looked Great !

There’s no rubber banding, you can literally win by a huge amount!!

Physics have gone backwards,feels close to ride 3 now, shame because I thought ride 4 at the start was spot on with physics for the most part
Yeah they changed the physics a few updates ago, sadly too many people complaining it was too hard, but I agree they were pretty spot on to begin with
