Roll on the next one... Then 'creed'?🤞
Remember Rocky started out as a collector on the street, he knows his way around a street fight.
he began as a street fighter
Oh he definitely does!!
Not his first rodeo if I may! 🤠
I know you mentioned how Rocky lack of communication, but that's why Adrian and Rocky worked so well together because she knew what he was feeling without him actually having to tell her, because she knows him. That was Sylvester Stallone real life son Sage Stallone. Sadly he passed away. They acted together in one other movie Daylight. Glad you liked it and I will keep an eye out for your reaction to Rocky Balboa.
Great reaction to this underrated sequel. Glad that you enjoyed it. Now onto 'Rocky Balboa' (aka Rocky 6).
Rocky's son is played by Stallone's real life son Sage Stallone (who was a decent young actor at the time and was in several movies with his dad but he sadly passed away from coronary artery disease caused by atherosclerosis in 2012) 😢
Clearly even Sly recognises it as the weakest entry to the franchise since Tommy is never referenced again.
In creed 1 he is
@@_.thealtbutton._3483 blink and you’ll miss it
@@ObsessiveGeek Stallone rated it as zero out of ten on the Jonathon Ross Show.
She is on the Italian stallion train 👍🏼
Can’t wait for Rocky balboa, the best since the original in my opinion!
So excited for that!! Up next woooo!
Rocky 5 (1990) was the ending we got to the Rocky franchise for 16 years. It disappointed the majority of Rocky fans & also Stallone who was quoted as saying "he wishes he could eat the negatives" to this film. It is a very depressing installment but it has a handful of scenes I still love. The Mickey gym flashback brings a tear to my eye every time I see it & Sage Stallone (Stallone's real son who passed away long before his time R.I.P) brings a believable & authentic performance.
What you were saying about Rocky's lack of communication & awareness of his Family in this installment comes from the fact that in this film he is severely Brain Damaged & it has left him a bit slow. Thank goodness they fix that in the next installment.
I just want to say that I am loving your reactions to these films & I can't wait to see what you think of Rocky Balboa (2006) which I will watch right after I finish typing here. Thanks so much for making & posting these reactions (I would call you by your name but I haven't caught it yet).
"You knocked him down, won't you try knocking me down"
Such a good movie.
Rocky knowing how to fight dirty made sense because he was Gazzo's enforcer. He also showed the same ability of picking up people and slamming them against Thunderlips and Drago.
rocky v different but severally underrated... Still a very good movie
now onto rocky balboa and then the creed series.
Yo Movie Joob!! You did it!! Amazing!! Amazing reaction!! I loved it!!!
I know this one is not the best and many don't like it
but i aprecciate you staying with us and talking about the movie at the end.
I would totally watch a 30 min video on your thoughts on the whole Rocky franchise after you watch Rocky Balboa.
Please talk more about your thoughts when you finish your videos.
I gotta say i have been going trough a rough time and your reactions are something thats been continiously making smile this christmas time.
Best of luck with your channel
Awww merry Christmas to you!!! I hope things get better and that you have a lovely holidays! I’m definitely gonna continue watching so more content to come!! ❤
This is my favorite Rocky! Fun fact the kid who plays his son is his son in real life. Love the reactions jade!
Lol the part where rocky is pacing back and forth watching Tommy fight on tv is so relatable. The worst thing imo is watching ur teammates/ friends fight. It's so nerve wracking but when they win it's so awesome.
The boy playing Rocky's son is Syvester Stallone's real-life son, Sage Stallone.
Sage's younger brother, Seargeoh Stallone, played the newborn son in "Rocky II" so both of his sons played his character's son on film. We unfortunately lost Sage Stallone in 2112 at the young age of 36. RIP.
I can't wait to see what you think of the next one, and the Creed movies!
I’m so excited to continue into the Creeds!! 🙌
Tommy Gunn... Was played by professional boxer Tommy Morrison... Had a pretty great career, had dynamite in his hands, but unfortunately fell victim to the party lifestyle and contracted aids and passed away from it.
...and he was also the grand nephew of Marion Morrison (aka John Wayne). 😉
His cause of death was cardiac arrest (aka heart attack), resulting from multiorgan failure due to septic shock caused by a Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection.
@@MLJ7956 But he definitely had AIDS... The way he looked before he died you could definitely tell he had it.
To be honest Morrison was a messed up guy . He should have never been fighting in the 90's , his mother said he knew in 1989 he had the virus . Yet still continued to fight others putting them at risk .
@@SJ-ty5rw Yep but it was only Nevada that made him take a blood test. He said he didn't have it, but if you look at the way he looked and how sickly was he definitely had AIDS.
Made my day ... I was waiting for you to get to this one. Best line: "Sue me ... for what?"
A friend of mine used to be Stallone's bodyguard. Apparently, one afternoon, Sly went into the garden and asked my friend to stand guard. In one 8-hour session, he wrote the first draft for Rocky V, and my friend was the first person to read it. Now, my friend had just starred in his own terrible film, and could recognise rubbish when he saw it, so, yeah, he didn't have a great feeling about it. I've come to appreciate it more over the years. I think the main distraction is the fact that it tried to emulate the "hood" movies that were big at the time. Decent genre in its own right, but it's like mixing ice-cream and ketchup. Fine apart. Not so much together.
It’s clear he really wanted to make a father and son movie.
He talks about the movie in the Netflix documentary called “Sly” quite openly, recognising it’s not his best work but has more sentimental value to him due to his troubled relationship with his father and obviously down to the fact his own son who plays Rocky Jr. has since passed away.
@@ObsessiveGeekAbsolutely.
It's a fantastic film, personally I don't get the hate, maybe it's cause folks thought it was the ending? I can kind of understand that, that said I've always enjoyed it and probably would still enjoy it even if it were the last one ever made
@@lightningmonky7674 I think it's cos it's so tonally different to the others, and Rocky's kind of a jerk in it.
@@ToniMcGinty I get that, but different doesn't mean bad imo, and I can get behind rocky being a "jerk" cause he has brain damage, I've know people with cte in real life and they're huge jerks but I don't blame them cause it's literal damage theyre not doing it on purpose
LMAO!!! She said it’s like a fever dream what the hell is going on 🤣🤣🤣
You know what I don’t think I’ve seen this one or atleast I can’t remember if I did..wait, yea did. Yo Jade thanks for hangin in there through all these movies. You are a fighter
I’m looking forward to possibly watching Breaking Bad with you in the new year ? 🙏😄Happy Holidays Jade! hope Santa brings you everything you asked for..you deserve it! 🤗
Omg yes Jade this is just what i needed. Another great video.
Awww I’m so glad!! Thank you! More to come 🙌
Rocky’s life took a dive in this movie; to see how Dragos life went afterwards watch Creed 2 eventually
Yes, this one is very different, but important to the story line. Can't wait for 6!!!
In what way? Nothing from this movie makes its way into any of the follow up movies.
They fill each other's gaps... I think Rocky summed up in the 1st movie what you were trying to articulate. 😎👍❤️
One more... then the Creeds. Thanks for doing this... I appreciate those who do. Just keep punching! 🥊
So excited to keep going!!! We got this 🙌❤️
I was 16 and watched this with my dad at the movie theater. It was 1990. I love your reactions ❤
Hi Jade hope you are having an great and awesome day ❤
Bless you.
Hi Jade,
Rocky 5 is by far the weakest of all the Rocky films. Sylvester Stallone actually apologized to his fans for listening to studio executives' advice to end the franchise. He vowed to remake what was supposed to be the final Rocky film himself, and the result was "Rocky Balboa". Rocky Balboa is probably the best Rocky movie since Rocky 1. After that he started with the "Creed" movies. (Still playing Rocky as a character.) Trust me it only gets better from here.
HEY! When you do Rocky Balboa, make sure you watch and react to the deleted scene with Paulie right after! It's a crime it was deleted.
I still don’t understand why Mickey wasn’t given medical assistance then. It's been a long time since I watched these films and maybe I don't remember something?
AWESOME REACTION JADE! I predict you'll enjoy "Rocky 6"("Rocky Balboa " from 2006) - as much as you like "Rocky 1". Please react to Stallone's NON FRANCHISE films like : 1-"Nighthawks" 1981 police thriller 2 - "Over the top" 1987 Truck driver Father reunites with 12 year old son after 10 years as he prepares for the World Arm Wrestling championship 3 - "Cliffhanger " 1993 - Rocky Mountain rescue rock Climber responds to call for rescue only to find that the so called victims are part of a major international crime scheme and they only want him to navigate them through the rough terrain. He must escape to save his life and that of his girl who they have hostage. 4 - "Daylight" 1996 - Ex New York Emergency Rescue Team member (Stallone) races against the clock to rescue people trapped in the Holland Tunnel that runs under New York/New Jersey Hudson River before the tunnel collapses from the water pressure on the tunnel walls which were weakened by an explosion. Merry Christmas! LOVE YOUR REACTIONS!
This kind of made be sad. Both Tommy Morrison and Sly's kid have both passed.
And Paulie
And Apollo, and mick...
Tommy Gun was real-life World Heavyweight champion Tommy Morrison, (who defeated George Foreman) unfortunately died because of HIV and aids.
Tommy Morrison was also the grand nephew of Marion Morrison (aka John Wayne).
His cause of death was cardiac arrest (aka heart attack), resulting from multiorgan failure due to septic shock caused by a Pseudomonas aeruginosa infection (not HIV/AIDS)
@@MLJ7956 This is very true and the pseudomonas was brought on by his compromised immune system as a result of his HIV
It was the same house as the fourth film
Can’t wait to see rocky balboa. Such a great movie.
I’m so excited!! It’s up next!
❤❤😮😭 you need your tissues for the next one Rocky six and then they going to make another one😮
Such another great reaction. Jade you are the absolute best, wish I could be just like you. In regards to Rocky's brain damage, pro sports can eventually wear and tear one down unless the athlete has a strict off-season routine to stay in tip top shape such as NBA stars LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo. The late great Kobe Bryant was great during his 17th year in the NBA until going down with a torn Achilles during a game against the Warriors during the 2012-13 season, the next two seasons saw limited action due to knee and rotator cuff injuries and during the 2015-16 season he announced that he would retire after 20 seasons and scored an amazing 60 points in his final game in a 101-96 win against Utah. In a basketball game I played after school during my freshman year of high school I scored on a fast break dunk I came down and upon my landing on my left foot I wound up pulling a muscle in my upper left leg
LET'S DO THIS! 😊
Great reaction! Thanks from the USA! ✌❤✌
I’m glad you enjoyed!! Love to the USA! ❤
@@MovieJoob ✌❤✌
Rocky was supposed to die at the end of this movie, but the studio/producers talked Stallone out of it because Rocky was still such a popular/profitable character for them.
Union Cane was the most unforgettable champion in any Rocky movie!
The kid who is playing rocky son was Sylvester stallone real life son but he passed away unfortunately several years ago.
Definitely different tonally from the rest despite being directed by the same guy who did the first movie. And going back to the vibes of the first two. The flashback with Mickey was the highlight of the film for me.
yeah, the flashback is great.
Se prepare para ROCKY 6 É MAGNÍFICO.
This has never been my favorite, but it’s still a decent flick. Looking forward to the next one, especially for the character growth we see from Paulie, even though a lot of it was cut from the theater release. Bring your tissues.
Yo, Jade! 😅 If you want Martin Scorsese's award-winning take on boxing, check out Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci in "Raging Bull." The acting is intense.
Tommy Morrison, (Tommy Gunn) won the title in real life from George Foreman. Yes, that George Foreman.
Mullets are coming back in America too, especially with kids
I am so sorry to hear about that unfortunate news 😞
You just wait for Rocky Balboa. Best Rocky since Rocky 1.
100%
Hell to the nah. Rocky 2 is the best
Rocky Balboa practically saved my life when I was going through a tough time. Rocky IV was my favorite sequel until Rocky Balboa came along. What heart in that film, I am with you on this. Rocky Balboa is what Rocky V tried to be.
that's a spoiler.
Balbo is by far my favorite of all the Rocky movies. Hope you make it a long video. ❤ Love your reactions.
The next Rocky is going to make you cry
While this may be the weakest of the franchise, your enthusiasm lifted the scenes for a fresh take. Its cool you became so invested in the Rocky franchise!
Great reaction! In my opinion this movie isn’t as good as maybe 2 or 3 but it does have the best acting moment of the series. Mickey’s scene in this brings tears to my eyes each time it’s such a beautiful memory rocky shares
yeah its different. Im still not set on it myself even after all these years. There was a time I didn't like it at all. Now I focus more on the family side and the fact he can't let go of boxing at all and Im cringing less.
idk if you but Rocky son was Rocky's real son Sage Stallone (RIP)
this one is the black sheep of the series and it tries too hard to bring it back to the first movie but its my favourite
It was the same director that directed the first film that directed this film
Mullets are definitely a thing in America as well.
This is very unfortunate news indeed.
That was Stallone's actual son, who passed away.
That is so heartbreaking that he passed! No parent should experience losing their child, one always hopes their kids outlive them!!
This is easily the worst film in the Rocky/Creed series. Stallone isn’t a fan of the film either which is why he made the 6th entry so Rocky could go out on a high. Thankfully that next movie lives up to the other movies in the saga. Also definitely recommend continuing with the Creed movies as they carry on the story.
🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞🌞
If mullets are coming back in Austrailia, let’s try to keep it there please 😂
Lord have mercy, it is deeply troubling.
I honestly think the final fight in this was the best in the series because it was almost like Rocky fighting his own son and unlike his real enemies like Drago and Lang, it was without rules
Creed movies are miles better than
your reaction is so adorable but you so cute and beautiful girl you know that
This movie was really good in the first half but just went a bit wacky towards the end. Glad they didn't leave it here.
I thought the street fight was cool
Totally get that! I’m excited to continue with 6 and then the Creeds!!
This movie came out 6 years after 4 so continuity got thrown out the window in some areas lol
I think it's pretty safe to say this one is the weakest in the series. Not that it's bad, but it's definitely not in the same league as 1-4 and 6. Good, but not great.
Also keep in mind going into 6 that it came out 16 years after 5 did.
And to really put that in perspective, only 14 years passed between Rockys 1 and 5.
#FeverDream
Women and fame ruined tommy boxing career. He had a nasty left hook. Rip tommy
4 is my favorite but Balboa might be second best movie right behind 1, 5 is honestly my least enjoyed but im bias cause I really never liked Tommy in the movie or irl.
Tommy Gun is probably the weakest opponent Rocky has ever fought, and I'm not specifically talking about in terms of the quality of the character and film. I mean, if you were to look at a tier list of fighters ranking their skills and abilities, he is quiet literally near the bottom. He's a glass canon in every sense of the word. A real strong fighter but can't take a hit to win even against an opponent that well past his prime and weakened by brain damage.
Not my favorite Rocky movie but still a decent entry in the series as it kinda sets up 6 in a subtle way. Even if it wasn't intentional.
This is pretty much universally agreed upon to be the worst Rocky film but it has a few highlights. The physical aftermath of the Drago fight, the new scenes filmed with Burgess Meredith, Paulie bonding with Rocky Jr., the street fight, and the awesome line "My ring's outside". Still the worst one though.
And Adrian helping rocky after Tommy drives away from there home that is a highlight for me as well
Was SO disappointed when i watched it at the cinema , Rocky Balboa is thankfully better tho .
That’s very understandable!! I’m excited to watch the next one with you all!!
I see nobody has really watched this reaction and it makes sense it is the weakest of the Rocky movies and the only one that doesn't end in a Boxing ring. I still contest that this is a damn good movie and if it ended in the ring it would be considered a good Rocky movie by the fandom.
Why is that theater behind always empty?
Hi Listen Girl ❤️ Which country do you leave because you are so so 💓💓 beautiful Girl and I never seen in my life
Oh that’s so kind! I’m from Australia! 😊
V is generally regarded as the worst Rocky movie, but I'm starting to wonder if its themes of family and fatherhood with a drastically different approach don't make it slightly better than the formulaic and cheesy IV.
She didn't take those beatings with him. If that was true she would also have brain damage. Worse scene in the movie.
Rocky 5 is generally regarded as the worst of the Rocky movies. Rocky 6 and all 3 Creed movies are back to being great
Um no they suck worst
Creed sucks.
You should have stopped after 4. The rest are terrible. The Creed movies suck.
I imagine your reaction to the end fight (btw, likening it a fever dream was chef’s kiss 👨🍳 🤌) is the same as audiences back in 1990 when this came out, hence why it’s regarded as the worst Rocky movie lol
