  • Pastor Craig Hadley grew up in an Adventist family and was an Adventist pastor in the Redlands/Loma Linda area for years when he was told he wasn’t “Adventist Enough”.
Join us as we listen to his journey, which led him to create the non-denominational church Paradox.
We also discuss his thoughts on the polarized divide within the Adventist church, and whether or not he feels he could ever return to this particular church organization.
After listening, do you think there’s space for Craig (and Paradox Church) in the Adventist system?
Have a question you want us to discuss? Comment? Maybe you disagree with something we said? Either way, we'd love to hear from you! Shoot us a DM on Instagram or an email at: seekingwhattheysought@gmail.com

Really liked hearing how different sides are both focused on "love" but go about loving others differently.

God inhabits our praise/gratitude.I have always had a problem when EG White said at the beginning of building the church, that we are not to go into the dens of iniquity in the cities, because angels will not accompany us into these places. She was basically saying ,let us spend our resources in getting this church up and running.I know Jesus came to where I was when I needed Him,and it was a den of iniquity.Jesus used someone to reach .e where I was.Adventists have always had this coldness.

I think it’s interesting that for a guy who claims inclusivity and women empowerment, one of his closest former co-Pastor, Mandy, who is a female Pastor, spoke out about how cold he was with her after she had her kid. And how unsupportive and unloving he was of her wanting to be both a Mom and a Pastor. She claimed that the patriarchy is strong with Pastor Craig. Kind of ironic if you ask me for a guy who toots his horn of being all about love and women empowerment.
That being said I respect you guys have interviews with people on both sides of the spectrum.

What a game of switch he plays. When we say reparations today it is meant as payment of decendents of slaves as there are no living people who were slaves from the United States. When Reagan did reparations to Japanese citizens it was to the living people who were interned. Not at all the same. When people can't be honest and have to play games with words it tells me some not too good things about their thinking processes.
