As a veteran thank you for all you did for us, and for me particularly thank you for buying me lunch that time at your restaurant, as a young PFC I didn’t have much money so that really helped me. God Speed sir, hope you are having burgers and beer with Jesus tonight
Wow!!!!!
Thank you for your service❤️
Didn't ever hear your music I hope your in paradise with Jesus your Lord and Savior
Toby Keith was TRULY a stand up man, married since 1984- forty years faithfully to his wife. Thanks for the timeless music Sir musicians like you are far and few between.🎤🎸
OMG HE PASSED ON?
I always thought I would die by 26...don't know why, just thought that. Well, at the beginning of this year, I turned 62, one day the thought was 'Hmm, maybe I had the numbers turned around, and 62 is the year.' Well, dammed if I wasn't diagnosed with throat cancer about a week later. Then, with NO idea that Toby was sick, I saw him and was astonished at how his cancer had affected him. Anyway, I started radiation and chemo in late February, have lost a cool 50 pounds...and this song, THIS song will not leave my head, and hasn't for weeks. If I make it through this, (the doc says 94% chance I -will-!), I will always thank Toby for this crazy song. If I don't...then I hope I get to hear him sing it in person. RIP Toby, you were always one of my favorites.
Prayers for you
Yes,be strong. Lord have mercy! Your in our prayers.
Don't stop fighting! You got this! 💪🏼
You will. Cowboys dont die easy . Prayers going your way my friend! ❤
Stay strong cowboy
Toby we love you. My husband and I have seen you a dozen times in person. We gave that legacy to our Granddaughter who is 9. She loves you so much, your death was hard for her. She still listens to you every weekend. We give her my phone on the way home on Sunday she plays your songs all the way home and takes about 40 minutes. You have touched so many generations, someone we not only love but respect.
Toby was a great American. He did over 200 shows for U.S. troops overseas, and loved his Country. He's an American Icon. His heart bled Red, White, and Blue. R.I.P. Toby.

This is the same song I first played and shared on my Facebook. He will forever be missed. May be be pain free and fly high with the angels.
Gene and Roy probably mourned a lot, R.I.P. Toby Keith!
Gene and Roy both opened up the pearly gates for you Toby. Rest in Peace Cowboy.
72 years old and in the 1950s the kids in my neighborhood all wanted to grow up to be cowboys. Roy Roger’s, Gene Autry, Hopalong Cassidy were my heroes. Instead I served 30 years in the Marine Corps and that was a great career. Now I’m just remembering all the good years of my life. Life is still good.
The 50s are a era I would have wanted to experience im 40 a 80s baby you were a blessed human the 50s 60s and 70s seemed amazing
Toby's not gone, he just went to the next rodeo.
He is definitely too drunk to karaoke with Mr. Buffet
😂
❤
I love how you put that! 🤠
I pray you are now resting in the comfort & in the joy of the Lord God Jesus Christ. Amen.

Oh. He is😊
Toby Keith traveled to the middle east to put on a show for our men and women serving our country, not for profit but because he loved them and our country.
Losing Toby Keith really puts shit into perspective for me…. He was the GUY during the wars who came and visited us all and brought us some kind of comfort in a shitty place… to think he’s gone and that times over really shows you how time flies.. I’m super grateful for everything he did for us servicemen and women.. great dude, great musician , I’ll never forget what he did for us during that crazy time.. I’m just super sad to see him in the end and how run down he looked… RIP legend and thank you for your sacrifices for us!!

I sure as hell should’ve been a cowboy!!! REST IN PEACE!
When my now 31 year old son was less than a year old, we’d put this song on, he’d crawl over to the stereo stand and pull himself up where he was able to hold on and he’d dance. He was less than a year old and couldn’t yet walk, but he could dance thanks to Toby Keith. When he got older he’d sing “Been a been a Cowboy”! Thanks for the dancing and singing lessons Mr Keith! RIP.
Amazing to think your son is now the same age as Toby was in this video.

If they don’t play this at the superbowl I ain’t watching
Did you watch it?
I heard the news on a monday night
That country singer Toby Keith had died
It brought a saddness to my heart
Twenty one number one hit songs
That topped the country billboard charts
Should Have Been a Cowboy
was the first to hit
I wonder if the record that rejected
Now regrets
Not having him on their list
The song that made his name
Now inducted into the song writers
Hall of Fame
He lived out his dream
Without compromising his beliefs
And balanced his family
Doing what he loved
And living by the things he spoke of
A legendary icon, even though he's gone
Will remain alive in our hearts
Through his songs that still play on
Forever remembered for his
Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue
After 9\11 hit the news
And sang the song live for our troops
Showing support in doing what they do
Despite any oppositional point of view
It gave morale to our troops
Battling cancer is a hard thing to go through
The physical toll it takes out
On you
And there is no guarantee
That chemotherapy
Is going to cure you
When your through
It took a living legend at sixty two
My condolences goes out his family
As they adjust not having him here
A husband and a father that they held so dear
He was their rock, a model family man
While we mourn the loss of him as a fan
His name will forever continue to live on
Through the memories of his songs
Rest in Peace Toby Keith
