After using the small Samsung 256GB Flash Drive for a few more Projects: I really would recommend using it for HEVC/h265 Apple Log with the Blackmagic Camera App when shooting 50 or 60 fps...for more than 5-10 Sek per shot. 30 or 25/24 is fine with ProResLT ... If you want ProResLT / ProRes HQ in higher frame-rates use a Samsung T7!
Did you get it to work, i am going to buy one of these ssd’s for my iPhone but im not sure which i should get. I want to be able to export from gallery to the ssd, and back if needed.
Thanks for this video. I bought the MagSafe wallet, SSD, 180 USB C and USB C extender. Unfortunately the 180 was too short and didn’t work with my case. However there was another 180 on Amazon that was long enough to work. Very much appreciated you sharing this video, it saved me research time. Keep up the good work!

Nice solutions for handheld with the small Samsung usb flash drive, , but with the T7 or other solutions to attach to the back of your phone it won't work with the dji gimbal due to the clamp magnetic connector used to attach your phone to the gimbal

well all the 256GB options are actually too slow for ProResHQ recording. With ProResLT 24fps you get 1h42min but might get into dropped frames. With HEVC/h.265 24fps you get 10h11min
