That is way more convincing to being a Mustang than the original Mach-e. I sometimes still scratch my head over the marketing decision, but if there’s one benefit, is that it’s one of the best-looking crossovers on the road! I wish it was available where I live.

When they announced the Mach E I first assumed it would be the 'real' Mustang with electric power. I thought electric power in a muscle car would be amazing. I still say this should've been a Galaxy E, never Mustang. Nothing to do with the power train and everything to do with the body style. I'll admit to hating SUV/Softroaders though.
Most of these crossover/SUVs aren't real SUVs, and manufacturers have done poor styling with electric vehicles. Ford definitely made a mistake by naming it mustang.
I'd have been fine if they just called it the Mach-e and left the mustang name out of it. It pigeoned holed Ford if they ever wanted to make an actual Mustang electrified.
@@joeycameron4744 Not true. They will just make a low to the ground version of this which will be a Mustang Mach 1 (again). Mustang brilliant extension of name recognition for those of us who love the image but don’t want to drive a poor handling cramped lump of a vehicle.

When they make an electric car that's RWD with LSD-"ish" rear drive dynamics and defeatable traction control, that's when I'll consider moving away from petrol. This car gives me hope.
This might be the Mach E GT Performance, price-wise it is similar to the price here in the states, plus this one doesn't have the horrible looking standard GT wheels, it has the Performance Pack wheels. In terms of speed 3.7 sec rolling start is also in line with the Performance version, not the standard.
I own a 2005 Acura TL and now that the car is 17 years old, some of the electronics are failing. Since the NAV, stereo, voice commands and some others are all integrated, the ability to control some of the features is becoming impossible. Also, why hasn't voice command become more advanced to where you don't need to reach for a switch or button? Great review but I would not trust Ford to support me with an electrical problem and don't even mention battery problems and replacement costs.

Entertaining review, but come on, the price of EV's in general (and yes, I know this is a 'Mustang' in name) has always been one of the major issues.
