@@XENONEZZ2 No guarantee you will make it to old age being able to use a hearing aid. Also hearing loss is a gradual thing and it depends on what db this exhaust is at versus minutes of exposure over said db. Easy in regards to health, eat well and go to the gym!
@@yardhostler3728 I've always driven manual transmission, but the car I'm in didn't have that option. (Lancer) I quite like the SST but I do miss the 3rd pedal. My point was you can get a fast car that's really easy to drive, a car that can practically drive itself, if you aren't confident in a powerful manual, or if you have weak knees.

As an American and 3-time Mustang owner, I know he’s being generous with this review. A Shelby is far more sorted than the GT and 850 horsepower probably feels like 580. That being said, I bet it’s a riot to drive
As a long time mustang owner (fox, sn95 as well as) and a new PP2 owner with a 6 speed, magnaride and (now) a lot of power and trans upgrades… That 4.6 0-60 isn’t an accurate time for a good click off. Not even on the street with stock tires. The cobra might be upgraded but there are a lot of us clicking off 3 second ranges with slightly modified perf packs.
Not really. Rory has a lot of reviews that lack quality and completeness. We hear him here measuring the SPL of the exhaust of his Mustang. He shows us 116dB. We then expect a comparison of the CS850 on both quiet and loud. Where is the quiet comparison? Another time, (amongst others), I remember him testing the touch screen in a car, (I "think" it was the new E or S Class), he said the response was instant. You could actually see the lag in the video as he was moving his finger. Try your iPhone or Galaxy S9 - that is pretty much instant. Makes me wonder if he's being paid NOT to give an honest review.

I believe that timing you got is cause its a manual gearbox. Don't get me wrong, manual gearbox's are fun to drive but DCT is much more efficient in shifting so you can achieve quicker launch timings.

I suspect it's not a car that is about 0-60 times or cornering forces. I think it's a car about experiences, how it makes you feel. The idea of having 850bhp under your right foot, dancing across the pedals as you eat through the gears. It sounds more like an old school working class hero than a modern highly strung track weapon. Something to recall the sensations of your first time driving a car, rather than changing the world.
Having owned 4 mustangs punching it around the bend is the scarey part if you’re not familiar with how they respond. I would do it just to break traction and give it opposite lock for fun. You expect it to break loose. But seeing him punch it in the corner and the rear looks to squat and dig in is a exciting new proposition. That’s exciting.
I’ve been watching your video’s for a couple of years now and (as a yank) I find myself thinking how odd it is when you are testing a left hand drive vehicle. Between you and Matt Watson, I’m starting to think it’s the “Proper” side to be on. Unlike Clarkson and May, you two don’t spend your time insulting Americans and our cars every time you review something from this side of the pond. Thank you for your professionalism and honesty.
If that hp figure is accurate, that car is much faster than 4.7 s implies. It's very hard to launch any S550 mustang, and that road was bumpy and seemed damp. I like this car though. Loud is awful and waay overrated, but a good sound is awesome. Your car sound really good, and that CS on quiet mode too. Nice review.

Correction Rory. You said this car has 340 more HP than a GT500 (1:35). No, the GT500 produces 760 HP, so this (if true HP) has 99 more HP, not 340 more. The car looks and sounds really good, but is considerably slower than GT500.

I find it amazing that as incredible as this car is (and it truly is incredible) the Tesla plaid would leave it in the dust from a roll or dig. Before anyone attacks me with the "fast isn't everything" quip I get it the Mustang tingles your aural delights like the Tesla never could BUT I believe this is something we have become accustomed to, basically the sound justifies the speed..I mean "means"😊

That off the mark test to see how fast it could go was a bit lame. How about maxing it out through every gear/ red lining, didn't hear any of that. Going through those gears hard and hearing it scream is what it's all about. I grew up doing exactly that and it's a hell of a lot of fun, give it a try.
One thing that never appealed to me about the gt500. Any generation. You can buy a GT, mod it, and get more power, for less money… and make it unique in the process. Instead of buying a factory built car. If you don’t want to void the warranty, buy a used one and do it and save even more

Your dodge or Chevy would not even exist without the mustang seeing how it came out years before the rest but that's like good old Ford doing everything 1st.......... I forget that some other countries don't get to experience this kind of symphony on a regular basis.
I love the car but something to keep in mind is that this really is a parts-bin special. It will not be as refined as the GT500 is. Anderson composites front fenders and hood, probably the same magnetorheological suspension as the stock GT but tuned, probably the GT350 or GT500 brakes. It's really nice car but I don't think it'll be as balanced as the Shelby GT500 track pack, which is what it looks like it is going for.

You guys in the UK did a fantastic job on this mustang mechanicals are perfect and I love the not so overdone body works, nice and clean.
