I've never been a Power fan, but he is spot on on this. One of the worst screw ups ever, The red should never have been waved, Races ending under yellow sucks, but that's racing. It's real sport, not manufactured drama. We don't need NASCAR mentality in Indycar.
They obviously took that from what F1 is doing. Which is the right thing to do by the way. Of course he would have loved a Safety car because that would have sealed his victory, but race control made the right decision.

I was at the 1987 indy 500 and saw Al Senior win his fourth. I was at Pocono to see Will Power pull off an almost impossible win. I know how sensitive these cars are I saw in the same Pocono race Ryan Hunter Reays car shut off coming around on the third leg of the triangle, and for no apparent reason.
