Love your 4Runner videos! ❤❤❤ I just purchased some rubber wiper inserts from the dealership and installed in front & rear with your assistance. Thanks so much!
I’ve got a 2017 4Runner, and bought new OEM wiper blades and the right side does not sit flush on the window. They’re the exact set you have in the video. Any idea on this?
Great tips! 100% on putting down a towel on the glass. I made the unfortunate mistake of changing a wiper blade and hitting the arm when it was in the up right spring loaded position.... well one new windshield and $850 later.... lesson learned.
Great videos, I have a 2018 Limited and they will come in handy. I'm originally from New Jersey and I am curious you seem to have a very slight accent.
I have a 2018 4runner that I tow a small teardrop camper with but the rear end drops pretty low when the trailer is on. Do you know any way to prevent this from happening? Thanks.
a spring with a higher spring rate. the 4runner, especially the SR5 springs are notoriously wicked soft and not only does the rear sag with minimal weight but the front end nose dives under moderate breaking. along with those symptoms the body roll during cornering is silly.

Do you have the part numbers for the full wiper blades? And do the wiper blades come with the inserts pre installed or do I need to purchase a set of inserts in addition?
If you buy wipers you don’t need to also get inserts. Check the website below, great prices and should be easy to find the right parts. www.bamwholesaleparts.com/
Another DIY 4Runner video in the books!! Awesome video man. Me personally. IMO would clean the windshield and upgrade to silicone wipers for the front. But all in all great video man. Would love to see more DIY videos on these 4Runner!!
You probably should’ve mentioned there’s a correct direction to have the inserts go in. I had to figure that out myself so might as well just skipped this video entirely
Super simple, thank you!
🤘🏻
So easy. Just did mine with your help. Thank you, Dude. Much appreciated.
You’re very welcome!! 🤘🏻
After watching your video i have since changed mine, easy peasy!

That’s freaking awesome!!
Thank you for your support!!
I had the Toyota logo on mine and I still changed the insert!
Thanks for this, I've always just replaced the whole wiper unit! Very useful info
Your very welcome. Thank you for watching!
Except the 5th gen rear wiper if you replace the whole unit you have to use OEM. They come with a tab to set into place when wiper is not in use.

Not entirely sure,
did the frame get distorted somehow??
@@VikingsGarage no, the frame is good. Idk if the windshield was replaced or not. I might have to replace the arm.

I know right, sorry to hear about the windshield.
It happens to the best of us.
Great vid. I need to change mine. Thanks
Glad it helped! You got this.
I drive a Lexus, but I really enjoy your videos. They are very informative. Keep up with the good work.
I appreciate that, thank you!
Do stay tuned, I’m working on getting a Lexus on the channel. As in a constant on the channel 😉
Thanks for the tips. Especially the rear removal technique. Just received inserts in mail and am going to get them swapped out.
Right on! Enjoy!! 👍🏻

I currently live in New Jersey myself.
I’m Portuguese, I can’t get rid of that accent. 🤷🏼♂️😆
I appreciate you watching!
@@VikingsGarage Your accent is not noticeable at all, I just had to know!
Ancestry says I'm 30% Portuguese, 27% Spanish, but I say I'm 100% Puerto Rican!
Lol, Es Portugues Também.
Abraço!
Good one I like these type of video. Did you bought the repair manual for 4 runner?
Luckily for me I don’t need to. I work for Toyota. I’m a Master Technician!
Thank you for watching!

Thanks.
If I’m not mistaken, installing air bags in the back( like inside the coil springs) helps this issue. Not 100% sure.

@@dave1096 yeah it's an SR5. Thanks!
