Nigeria has many ethnic groups and each group have their own peculiar costume designers. The Igbos, the Yorubas, the Hausas, The Edos, the Efik , the Tiv, the Idomas, the Fulani all have unique costumes won during festive periods and celebration. I think you should do more research with the lead I have given. Thanks

There are different head dresses . The Edo , the ijaw, the Igbo, have different head dresses. But a lot of people borrow from other cultures. Igbos have their head dresses, but a lot of Igbos wear Edo and ijaw head dresses, because they love it. Igbos have got their fabrics called Akwete and akwaocha. Other ethnic groups have their fabrics too

Very important question for you two - When are you coming to any country in Africa?
Stop procrastinating and book a trip now. You can book it for the future and pay monthly but at least you know when and prepare. I am Nigerian but suggest you go to Ghana first, then Nigeria and if possible Senegal, Gambia and South Africa, then Kenya and Uganda.....any really is good....just do it, just go.

@@dubemellit2932 they got them from doing trade with d Portuguese n they are not from Ile ife...... The Great Benin empire have been there way b4 d 13th century, n they have one of d greatest history, art n culture in West Africa. And the Binis were d ones that used red coral beads that's y they use it alot. But I won't say other people copied them becos, some ethnic groups or kingdoms came from the Benin kingdom, even some igbos had connections with them too n they did trade n it became part of most people's culture too. N also Igbos have ivory beads, n they use it alot.
