Can you guys please react BUSUA BEACH AND RESORT from the western region of Ghana 👍
The first and second wife thing is a running joke😂
Josh is married to Gabie (his only wife), but Ollie started this joke about Gabie only being the second wife. He said he considers himself the first wife practically since him and Josh have been best friends for a long time, and are super close
Sometimes Gabie makes videos with them as well, and this almost always comes up and gets them cracking some really hilarious jokes😂. And Josh is always caught in the crossfire
Ollie is married as well, to sweet soft-spoken Lizzy. She's the calm to Ollie's chaos. They have a cute little girl, Juno.
They took these guys to South Korea as well. I recommend those 😁
Oh yeah. They have a TIME!
I love Barney and Isaac. They are so much fun. The video where Josh and Ollie take them to a Korean bar in London is one of my favorites. Great reaction, guys!
Thank you!
Guys, pls watch their whole Korea trip. so many episodes to react. will keep you hungry. 4 of them chemistry is amazing
I enjoy the okro stew more than the okro soup due to the slimes.. but I enjoy that of the northern part of Ghana which also has the slimes but not made from okro but green leafs and it's called ayoryor eaten with tuozaafi
Shito is the best black sauce you can ever have🇬🇭😋
Malta is pretty much a sweet non-alcoholic Guinness 😂
The spices in it make the slime taste good, that's the secret, it's doesn't taste slimy but looks slimy
After you're done with the British Highschool series with Korean Englishman....you HAVE TO WATCH the British Rappers with Barney & Guvna. You obviously watched one of their videos, but you need to start from their first appearance ON KE. They're hilarious & have the best energy!
About the fanta. In the EU a lot of colorings and additives are banned from their food products so their fanta is not bright orange like that, its more of a natural orange color that is reminiscent of orange juice. Thats why ollie commented that this is not from the EU and has to imported in from somewhere else. They are really strict on their food industry and is actually healthier compared to America where our food is just full of additives and colorings. Its different outside of America on how much control and safety they consider in what they give to the general population to eat. Fast food markets that go into the EU have to adapt their menus to fit the rules there. Just look up American Mcdonalds fries vs UK and the UK potatoes are just potatoes, oil and salt. The American version is made with 14 ingredients and most of them are additives and preservatives. You can look at other fast food places and see how they have changes to their menu when they open a store in the EU.
I wish I could meet some of these foreigners and teach them how to eat Ghanaian foods. Most people just give you the food, without teaching you how to start or eat it. That can result in bad experiences.
First to comment 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 every video y'all make about Ghana, gives me joy ❤❤❤❤❤
You're the best!
In Greece we also have okra recipes, but the most common one, which is stew-like, has them full. And it's one of those dishes that children tend to avoid. We have no recipe where we mash it though, which is interesting.
As for fufu, as far as I'm aware, it's made out of cassava. Never heard of okra based fufu. Fufu is meant to be sticky, in order to pick some up and dip in sth which absorbs it. I doubt you can get the same result with okra. Then again, not sure if fufu is made out of other ingredients in different countries.
The laughter and energy was contagious ..
Oh my goodness, thank you so much guys
You’re welcome!
Watching you from Ghana 🇬🇭✌️😅 I love this reaction video.
While i wouldnt consider them crazy fans of spice josh & ollie are actually pretty good & open to it considering their "bland british palates" despite all the jokes about brits not liking spice. Theyve tried various cusines on their channels & a number of michelin rated spots as well so they definitely enjoy their food & trying new flavors
In Ghana, we eat okro stew with banku
Thanks for the correction!
They have had okra before. In a video 11 months ago called Brits try Southern BBQ for the first time. It was fried though.
For us it's *if the Okra slime is out you didn't cook it right* my gran wouldn't even touch it 😂 man I miss home
Ghana seems like such a cool place. I had a penpal back in the 90s when I was a teenager and my pal was a young man from Ghana. We wrote each other a lot, exchanged pictures… 25 years later we are commenting on our kids pictures on FB and he’s high up in the government.
I still don’t think I can get over the slime in the okra stew. I like okra any way except super slimy.
If you need best and good food in Africa just go to Ghana 🇬🇭 or Nigeria 🇳🇬💪🏿💪🏿💯
For sure Nigeria 🇳🇬 and Ghana 🇬🇭❤❤
@@tundebakare6887Ghana and Nigeria
Actually in Ghana fufu is usually not eaten with okra but with a soup called light soup
Not just light soup but a variety of soups e.g. palm nut soup, groundnut soup, the green soup and the list goes on.
she is right. Not only light soup. Large variety of soups
I think it's Nigerians that eat their fufu with okra stew☺️
But not Ghana
For authentic real fufu, you must go to Ghana.
You guys will be fine. When you going. I can take you both.
I’ve had Nigerian Joloff Rice but I haven’t had the opportunity to try other west African Joloff rice’s to make any comparisons on different flavors.
Fufu is eating with soup not okro stew and its could be either groundnut, Palm fruit etc
yes!! great selection for a reaction! this video is hilarious!
Red red is one of the best food in Ghana it’s soo delicious 💋
Much love ❤ you guy’s are doing amazing job to promote Africa I love you guy’s
I’ve missed out a lot and only just catching up. It was my birthday on nov 30 and spent it in Vancouver. How are you family?
It's a malt drink hence the funny taste.
This happened to my friend. We went out to eat at a popular Malaysian Food Chain, and we just had Chicken and Rice. I don't remember her order, but I think I tried the Hainese (Don't come for me, I don't know how to spelt it) Chicken. I found it delicious and it was nearby, wouldn't mind going there again but Later that night, she was in so much pain. Her stomach was in shambles that we had to go to the hospital. It wasn't good poisoning, at least the doctor didn't mention that. I think her appendix burst or something. It had to do with her appendix so ever since then, we've never gone back to that chain.
React to: BUSUA BEACH AND RESORT from the western region of Ghana special request👍
I have watched this video some couple of days ago ❤❤
You guys should react to people vs food Americans try African food for the first time
One of my favorite African dishes is plantain with tomato jam and goat’s cheese.
😊😊❤🙌🇬🇭🇬🇭👌
They're really going hard on the Ghana experience... Nostalgic like I don't still live here😅
Okro is usually eaten by the voltarians in the Ghana, in Togo and Benin as well and we make it extremely slimy and it goes with Akple.
Most Ghanaians eat okro.
@@Frank-Bediko62 yes they do but it’s a delicacy for the voltarians and also their traditional food.
@@vovoliapetogbo3693 Have heard of nkruman nkan? Gumbo in Louisiana? Okro is a west African dish. It is just cooked differently.
@@Frank-Bediko62 I don’t dispute that fact cause even Zambians and the Congolese eat Okro and Shima (akple). But when it comes to Okro soup it’s usually eaten by the ewes and it’s their delicacy and traditional food. Like the way fufu is for the Akans but it’s eaten by most Ghanaians and even some Ivorians and Nigerians.
The plant-ain vs plant-in was real with my boss and me. I said “plant-ain” and he was adamant it was “plant-in”
He was from Tampa.. so that explains why.
Rye bread is usually made with molasses, he was most likely referring to that flavour.
The wife pronounced Ghanaian correctly.
In Ghana okro is all about the slim. You get used to it, especially with banku. It helps with swallowing the banku.
We don't normally eat fufu with okro😂 it's with other soups.
Please check Aleta Israel. Who is building a lot of houses for African Americans, Caribbeans, those in uk and Europe. She building community one and two. Please check her videos
Okra you can eat it with fufu and banku and konkonte and other foods 😅😅
Ah that is Nigerians' malt. Ours is different
My mom can prepare the okro stew and okro soup
"Rye bread is very dry" 🤣🤣🤣🤣As a Dane we eat rye bread all the time, so that comment to me, tells me you only eaten old rye bread. You should try something fresh, maybe that will change your perception of rye bread. All the best from Denmark ❤
It was fresh out of the oven at a restaurant lol When we ever get to Denmark, we'll try it!
@@TheDemouchetsREACT Maybe they baked it for too long. Honestly rye bread should be soft & moist. Unless you toast it till it's crispy & break it into pieces & use it like a crouton in a salad or as a healthy chip, with something to dip it in.
Okra with banku and not fufu.
Thanks for the correction!
nice video fun
Fufu is a swallow not a chewie...😂😂
Banku and okra soup, fish or meat
I've tried that malt drink and I can't it has a very strong taste of molasses, and I don't know but I just can't, but my husband drinks and has no problems with the taste
The fufu part killed me😂😂😂 that’s not how u eat fufu.. there’s no way u are going to enjoy eating it like that..nice video..
Malt tastes like medicine 😂😂
You will have the slime or not, depending on how you cook the okro.
You guys saw them try okra in the south. This is an older video.
To pronounce Ghanaian the Ghanaian way you have to say it like /Ga-nian/. Hope this helps
🙏🙏🏻🙏🙏🏻💚❤️
It's grilled tilapia
Can u elaborate on how u cook the slime out of okra? I’ve never tried it cause I can’t do slime. I’m 99% sure it’d make me puke. However, I would like to try it especially if I could cook the slime out….
A cap size of vinegar. Check out this video.

@@TheDemouchetsREACT thank you!
You’re welcome.
Ghanaians never eat okro with Fufu, Okro is taken with Banku rather not Fufu
Did u visits Ghana 😅recently?
Please this is not Ghana's 🇬🇭 malt, it's rather Nigeria's malt.
You guys said okra with rice. You will never that in Ghana
We know. 😊
You can have okra with rice, we do when you cook the slim out.
Some regions in Ghana eat Okra with rice.
We eat that in Ghana but not too common, also you got to make the okro in a stew form
My friend in the ivory coast ate rice with okro soup 🍲 it sounds strange to me as a Nigerian
Okra is good for people with kidney stones.
Please don’t cook the slim out, it's the fiber and it makes it easier to swallow banku not fufu.
Banku is made with corn. It is similar to Kenkey. The only difference is that Kenkey is fermented but banku is not. Fufu is is made of cassava and plantain (pounded in mortar with pistel).
Please don't listen to those ppl who don't know what they're saying and be calling any swallow food fufu. It's not at all.
Thank you
Our dish is called smothered okra. It wouldn’t be made properly if it was slimy.
Jollof is overrated! Waakye is supreme...
then u cant stay in Ghana and eat street food with ur eyes open
In this video it was the first time they were introduced to it. This video was put out way before they came to the American South and they did try okra when they were there it was fried
I've never had blackened chicken but I've had blackened catfish and it was so good
