I first heard Bernie Wagenblast's voice in May of 2010 at the 28th Street 1 train station in NYC and overtime was noticing the number train stations were getting these countdown clocks installed and using announcements on them as well. I first learned it was Bernie Wagenblast in 2014 from a video and learned more about Bernie over the years afterwards. I heavily recognized that tone and have also heard Bernie's voice on the EWR AirTrain, and also immediately found out Bernie Wagenblast is also the PATCO Speedline voice when I first rode PATCO in November of 2019. It's certainly fantastic that Bernie Wagenblast is identifying as her true authentic self and she certainly deserves to be who she wishes to be. Her AMAZING work she put out there for all of us will still be as great as always.
I actually met Bernie Wagenblast in December 2023 while experiencing the NYC Subway Holiday Vintage train rides of that day, and I was TOTALLY STUNNED and AMAZED that this actually became reality!
