Thanks Ryland - Could you go over the "setup" you are using with the teleprompter. Things like where the software is housed, how is the monitor connected, who controls teleprompter progress/speed, and how it is done etc. Currently pastor using iPad for notes and a remote to move through sermon slides in ProPresenter but I like this approach.
Hey so I'm gonna jump in here. I'm Ryland's pastor and I'll be the one using this setup. So in our experiment I wanted to find a teleprompter app where I can copy and paste my notes onto the program while maintaining highlights and colored text (because that's how my notes work with my brain). I think Ryland linked above the app we're going with. I tried I think 4 different ones and landed in this one. suborbital.io/powerprompter/ I'm probably ruining Ryland's next Vlog HAHA but we've turned the brightness down on the TV and we have the TV connected over HDMI directly into my Macbook Pro at a station in the sound booth behind the TV. Our setup in the worship center is kind of wrapped seating so the problem is that people can see my notes scrolling if they're sitting on the edges... and that's distracting for them. The image is just a simple mirror of my Macbook screen so the operator can see exactly what I see without wondering if the TV is outputting the correct thing. So we're not using Propresenter for this... it will be a completely separate system. One of our ministers is running it for me. She is just manually scrolling with her finger on the Macbook trackpad. Just following along with my notes as I speak. So if I stop and tell a story or something, she just stops. We practiced my sermon which you saw a short clip of on this video and it worked great. Ryland will probably give an eval of it all in his next Vlog. Pretty simple setup though. What I really like is getting my head out of my notes, looking up at everyone, and especially looking at the people online (even though every time I'm "looking at the camera" I'm really looking at my notes). Just trying to be more engaging with the gospel and sharing God's Word. We will see how it goes!
Hey Andrew, our pastor has tried quite a few. I linked his favorite in the description. He likes it because he uses a lot of different colors and it’s easily editable.
Thank you Ryland for the excellent content and acknowledgement for Optical Filters, but we are most happy how this project worked out for your church.
Still working great for us, thanks Peter!
Hello Ryland. Great presentation. What Android teleprompter app would you suggest can be a great alternative. Thanks Ed
Hey there, I haven’t tried any android or windows specific apps. Sorry!
OMG!!!! Ryland you are nothing short of BRILLIANT!!! #Affordable #NextLevelCreativity 🔥
I receive that 🙌🏻 😀
What a great idea! Love that you are thinking of the people I. The room and online.
It’s a balancing act for sure. Got more changes in the works for this sunday. 😀
Ryland! I think you're making some really great and really helpful content! Keep it up!!!
Thanks a bunch Jason! I really appreciate it.

I’ll try to grab that stuff on Sundays Vlog.

What prompter software do you use?

That was going to be my question so glad that @Ryland listed a few
