    • @kaoskartoffel6572
      @kaoskartoffel6572 2 года назад +5

      @@anned.4250 Maria gave her two options. First she asked "Can I have a bite, too?" To which Mila was handing her the tomato. And then "Or do you want the whole thing?" Mila decided she didn't want to share in this case. If Maria is raising an independent and compassionate woman who speaks up for what she wants in a world still currently dominated by men, then she is winning and her daughter is, too. Everyone actually. And it doesn't make Mila any less of a good person. I never call children angels, because they never are. They're human beings born with human flaws. But if you're here shading a 3 year old kid, maybe ask yourself which flaws you could work on yourself.

At first it’s just play time for an hour and then I took him to speech twice a week. Once he was in K-1 they did everything in school. He’s 20 now and his speech is perfect. If you watch Perez Hilton and Family my son kind of talked like his son does. Especially if he got excited to tell me something he would stutter. Best of luck @rosworms God bless!

    Here’s what I’ve learned about growing in the Sacramento region:
    1. The soil quality is usually poor, but can be improved by spreading a thick layer of mulch on every exposed area. Use chips from a tree service- request them for free once a year using Chipdrop. Do this and you will start to find worms in your soil, it will retain more moisture, and the soil quality will improve every year!
    2. Everyone gets the urge to plant in spring, but it’s actually the worst time to do it here! Spring is too short and the young plants don’t have enough time to get established before they get blasted by the summer heat! Try to plant as much as you can in fall instead.

    • @SassyMashaVlogs

    My son and I just got into having milkweed in our backyard, and then my husband built a butterfly cage! It’s a really fun project to see the whole cycle of a monarch butterfly landing on your plants, laying her eggs, hatching caterpillars, feeding them milkweed, growing into their chrysalis, and then you have butterflies! It’s educational and helps raise the dying monarch butterfly population. 🥰

    I so enjoy watching your garden videos. In our community where we live in the Sierra foothills there are no fences, so the deer eat pretty much everything unless the flower pots are in hanging baskets out of their reach. I miss the colorful flowers I could grow when we lived in the Bay Area. I was going to suggest you get a citronella plant (which I have in a pot and is doing great because the deer are leaving it alone), but I see that you have one. Brush your broom against the plant and then sweep your porch areas to keep the mosquitos away.
    Keep filming these videos so we can watch your landscape develop along with you. Love seeing you teaching your beautiful little Mila about the plants as well. ♥️

      Also you can purchase little lawn flags to put in the ground close to the sprinklers to avoid hitting them when again mowing!

    My daughter, also named Maria, has discovered a love of gardening. She’s really good at it and has had some lovely crops. I can’t wait for my puppy to get through the digging and nibbling stage to start my own little vegetable garden again. Mila is an absolute delight. It’s wonderful that she is so bilingual ❤️❤️

    Your heirloom tomato needed to be pruned to give you more tomatoes. Very nice first effort. You’re doing a great parenting job Maria.

    Oh, wow, how much has your daughter grown! It’s amazing to see 😁 She’s a cutie! She loves her mama so much, you can tell.
    What a lovely garden you have, by the way. It’s really nice. Mila is learning so much about nature and how the food comes to the table, it’s a much needed knowledge, I believe. 🙂
    This was also very relaxing 😌 thank you for sharing ❤️

    Mila is such a sweet girl. She seems to really enjoy being in the garden and watching things grow. When I lived in Sacramento I planted several Agapanthus plants, which are known as the Blue Nile lily, they are beautiful and did well in my garden which was very similar to yours. I tried to plant them in pots here in Michigan, hoping I could over winter them in my garage but it didn’t work out. Fall is a great time to plant things in Sacramento. Just add some compost into your potting holes before planting.
