This was ungodly helpful man. My raid is pretty casual and they only optimize groups for windfury buffs since they don't really understand Aug very well and I've had a hell of a time trying to mouseover my preferred targets for prescience. This makes it so much better for me, thanks!
You can check off all of the options under "Activate due to group size" under "Tools" so you don't have to use a macro or type the /vd pt command to make it appear.
Great Video, but given you changed a spell, I think you should show where to save the altered key layout, and how to get it to load said key layout when you go back in or out of aug spec. (tools > key layouts.) You're probably aware but once you change the spells, save the layout via "save as". Selecting the relevant spec box (aug) for that layout allows you to save that set of spells to that spec and automatically load the assoicated spell set when you change into aug spec.This allows you to use the left click via vuhdo for other spells when not in aug. (similarly save those keylayouts under their names and check the appropriate spec box for pres/dev)

Doesnt work in my game. i dont get buffs insinde the frame, no class colour. I redone it several times, it diddnt worked out. I dont know what to do..... Im just using Vuhdo and my inteface is Elvui. Maybe its because i playing german client and have to use german spelling?
Hi, my setup is similar, i just add some improvements, like for example, the unitframe color is related to the prescience buff duration. For example, if one of my target has prescience on him, the color of the frame will have a yellow shade, and if the prescience duration is less than 8sec ( arbitrary value to determine when it is ok to refresh prescience on this unit) the shade will be red. Ideally, it will be awsome if Vuhdo has the possibility to track the remaining cooldown of the units, but it is not implemented. The dream will be to be able to change unit frame color when their CD burst will be up in the 20 next seconds for examples. Atm, we have to combine vuhdo with OmniCD (echo tools, method raid tools) or any weak aura based on Open Raid Cooldown library, but we can only add this overlay on vuhdo. So the UI can't be perfect from my point of view. Maybe someone is developing a unit frame addon with the possibility to track remaining CD of the units, do you know if it exists or if some big guilds are developing it @Preheat ?
btw u can do the same just with a grid2, there is option in the grid2 menu to crate additional group (cant login now, but i think its in the layout>editor) and you can type in players names and it will only show them and in indicators you can add icons and progress bars to track buffs. Then with addon like clique you can setup keybinds to cast spells (or just use @mouseover macro in game)
I keep hearing about this option but still have yet to see it actually work. Even when I ask experts to walk me through it, the layouts do nothing. Seems very buggy. Also, its kind of annoying to have to go into the addon and type a name out to make a change. Having a button for it is way better. Hopefully grid2 improves this feature because I'd prefer to use them instead.
@@Preheat u r right with the typing in names, the vuhdo command is 100% better solution. With the grid2 not working ... its wierd and buggy if you have other addons or WAs that interact with your frames, best solution i found so far is to have this "extra" frames as a group 1 and the raid as a group 2. Indicators and all grid2 related stuff works perfecly and if your focus group is 1, other addons (omnicd) and WAs work fine.
Wow thanks for this. I was looking for my own way to make a prescience speed dial. One thing though… I currently have a Grid2 profile I use that required extensive bouquet tinkering so it would show all my echoed Preservation HoTs properly for when I heal. Is this something that is built into your Grid2 profile or should I just stick with mine?
Okay so i seem to have the problem when i join a grp of 5 it selects them and thats fine for M+ but if i go in raid it just random picks 5... Am i doing someting wrong i had the feeling that you had to type VD PT so select someone to be on the list "speed dial"

You mention that in order for the player to appear in the Frame they need to be in the same party, does this include a raid? Like if someone is in G8 and I am in G2 I can still add them to my frame using the / command?

One issue I ran into when having this setup (Grid2 for raid frames, Vuhdo for prescience) was that the unitframe anchor for weakauras prefers the vuhdo frames over grid, meaning that the raid WA glows for example was showing on my Vuhdo. I could fix it by modifying that priority list, but it seems a little clunky. Did you have the same issue?
/vd PT seems to do nothing, the trackings and all works fine, but i cant set favourite targets to show up in my Vuhdo panel, it just picks group 1 in the raid everytime.
Nvm, solved it by fully resetting my Vuhdo profiles and everything, most likely some old settings where still being transferred to the new profile, works like a charm now.
Good tip! You will likely need to set up a custom "Private Tanks" box for this and add the bouquets, yes. Make sure you also add the HoT Icon and Bar as well if you want that.
@@Preheat thinking about it now, the bouquets might not be necessary. If you go to panels tab, then to hot icon (I think) you can put any hots or buffs here. I already had it showing my prescience and scales buffs. Had not thought of others buffs.

Sadly this is the only guide for this and its terrible. Haven't been bale to successfully import anything. Zero specifics on how to do anything. My frames haven't changed at all and absolutely no timers like we need!

wow... healers spend the better part of a decade trying to push new healers AWAY from addons like this and you are over here spreading the cancer. This didn't help the community, this produced more players that couldn't play their character without addon assistance. -20/10 content.
As healer you can really get away just using blizz UI, mouseover macros and maybe some WA to track debuffs. As aug, You have to track peeps CDs and plan your ebon might buff like 20 seconds in advance. You do not need to see your healers and tank bars. There are always some peeps in non halls guilds that their performance is not on pair with others and you want to exclude them even if their CDs are coming up. I for example buff our two retries because they a re that good. You just chose 2 best DPS for 1 minute 2 minutes and 3 minutes CDs and maybe someone who has great sustain profile. You really do not have to look through 20 people and decide in a split second who to buff for next ebon might. Everyone you need to track is in party like frame. As healer you track peeps HP and healing CDs are most of the time assigned. Some people use tools to spit best 4 DPS for every 30 seconds segment our of logs and use glow weakauras and notes to make them glow. Great on 20th pull where the damage profile is pretty much set in stones not great in progression at the beginning. Augs performance in raids really depends how they can track and buff people in spikes. And most augs who will want to improve their performance will try to somewhat minmax their tracking. I came to pretty much same UI setup as here. Used my stock ElvUI aframes. Afterwards I added omniCD raid filter to show specs CDs. I found some people are not really worth buffing over other and tracking 14 DPS peeps and on top of that cluttered by tank and healers which I cared none at all about their state I concluded I would love an option to separate tanks and healers from DPS. Found vuhdo can do it and now I track just a few guys and do not have to look through 20 bars to see who to buff next. You can totally play without the addons. Just randomly here and there buff people but you will not be playing 100% as aug. You will be bottom half. Sadly You will need these addons and weakauras if You wish to improve as one. That is the reality. You will be just bottom half dps in your raid unless you will be tracking peeps Cds and buff accordingly. As healer you can get away with it just fine. As aug You will be asked what the hell is happening or benched outright. So saying, people who cannot play their character without addons.... it is not possible to play aug without one at 100% effectiveness. You just cannot track the CDs without one. If anything it is actually easier to not care who to buff and just take autopilot targeting over your decisions. So it is just not question about not able to play without addon assistance. It is outright not possible to play without one and perform. Sure you just need to track CDs and that is doable with some weakaura and stock UI and that was my first iteration. And perform well. But You still need the WeakAura. That statement just grinds my gear. Once blizzard adds cooldown tracking to their HUD I will take it back and will say, Yeah You do not need addons to perform well as Aug Evoker. But I will give you one. On second thought, You can actually play aug evoker without a single addon and perform. You just have to analyze the logs for every segment where you would buff. Remember top performing people and where they sit in blizz UI. Remember every name for every ebon might segment and at what second they use their CDs. Count in You head seconds during the fight and remember at what time who to buff. Remember you plan ebon might 20 seconds in advance so you have to also do quick mathz in your head if they will be in their burst in 20 seconds or 25 so you would delay pres a few seconds and so EM. Also you have to watch out for yours and their mechanics as this could delay their burst so they would not be bursting for a few seconds of your EM. And if You manage all that for every 30 second segment of the whole a** 5+ minute fight. Show me the video and log, I will say it. You do not need addons as aug evoker to perform 100%. You just need to be hyper focused autistic person. Yeah... that statement really grinds my gears that much.

I use bouquets because I like how i can customize them but it's up to you on how you display the buff.
