Hey guys hope you all doing good, another starter base for you to look at hope you not getting sick of them yet lol, this one is The Solo Players Starter Base so get them hammers ready and lets do this :)
You might don't get the "sheltered" in the midle of the big house, since floors don't count as roof/protection. Otherwise, nice build, surely got some ideas for my next outpost.
I do wish that Valheim had a flat 'roof' tile option other than the stone floor piece. The first storm and that main room will be all wet and discoloured, let alone not getting the rested buff without standing near the edges.
"Solo player starter base" sure lemme just spend about 12 hours chopping trees with my "solo player starter" flintaxe. My simple 4 wall shack has survived plenty of raids lol this is over kill and more like a mid game base but it's still nice
6:07 I cannot get this part to look right. When I smash out that wall like in this part of the vid, the hole is too small for a doorway so I'm confused as to what I'm doing wrong. Please help. Are the pillars that you use for the framework 2 or 3 high? Is the bigger framework 4 pillars high?
I've just recently started watching valheim videos. I've been playing it off and on since it first went early access, but didn't really watch any content related to it. In the last week or so I've kinda gone down a rabbit hole of valheim, though, and I have to say, starting your build video with a comprehensive floorplan with wall dimensions layed out visually is amazing, compared to every other video i've seen thus far. So, thank you for that.
I appreciate the builds and ideas... But they are not realistic when you play the game without Devcommands. And if you cheat to build, it makes playing the game about 50% pointless because you never have to worry about resources, Work benches, stone cutters etc.
they all doable i have used many of them in a playthrough, you just need to get used to building scaffolding and with the ladders and flooring to reach certain points, thanks for watching.
I agree that if you just spawn in everything the game loses its lustre...but for construction I really think the ability to fly like this is practically essential (maybe it should be an option when holding the building hammer) as it takes soooo much time to erect scaffolding and ladders, and fiddle with snap points that refuse to snap properly. I like the building aspect but do not have unlimited gaming time, so making construction faster and easier is valuable to me.
Love the builds!! I play a lot of personal hardcore challenges for fun so restart a lot! These give me lots of ideas on new ways to build near the beginning so thank you!! Keeper coming and great work!!!
Followed this build step by step and built it. As someone with a few hundred hours in the game this was my first base that wasn't "box with roof." Great guide, thanks for uploading.

id love to see you do an underground base!

"It's for solo players, you don't need that much room."
"Laughs in Hoarder."

Been awhile since I did this, the beams are 4 high at that main building part where the stairs lead out.
is it possible to use that base in the plains, but with stone, and the min. half size bigger for all the stuff. What do you thing?
🤔
could work, can certainly be built using stone instead of wood.
very nice.
what is this music? 13.15/18.05 please.
13:15 is called canon in d for two harps by Kevin MacLeod the link to his website is in the description thanks for watching.
It is *Pachelbel's Canon in D Major*, played on the harp. A very beautiful piece of music.

I had similar design using wooden main house as part of defense wall, it was pretty fine until the raid event summoned two trolls...
What did you do for defense?
Did this base in myworld and looks good. GG dude will do some more bases of yours
Sweet build ZomZero thanks for sharin'.
I can see inspiration from Vetlive’s Personal Castle build. Lovely work, thank you.
Vetlive and The Pilgrim were both builders I first started to follow when valhiem first came out, learnt a lot from them, Thank you :)
Very nice. Not only does it have a really cool look about it, but there's a ton of ways to customize/upgrade it with different materials. Great job!
This video is lacking a guide on building basic roofs for bigger houses. I'm searching for those kinds of videos.
Love the design & layout thanks so much helped my wife out alot ❤❤❤
buen video una joya...!!! espero sub. en español =) jajaja
Thank you :)

Nice build again. I like how you upgraded from basic wood and shape b4 you finished. Great job again! Keep them coming. (starter bases)
About how much wood does it take?
How does he have unlimited mats and fly around?
Creative mode. Not exactly no mod xD
This is perfect, just started a new world, this is just what I was looking for.
This not starter base
Good Viking! Thank you for your ideas and work, and the opportunity to use these ideas. Good luck and prosperity to the channel!
Thanks!
