There is this lovely corner of RUclips that is slower, gentler, quieter and unique and I love it. Every time I find a new creator that has this vibe, I’m so happy. ❤
You did a great deal with very little but the highlight for me is your artwork - it looks gorgeous. I will watch for more. I hope the space is supporting you and your recovery.
I found your channel just a few days ago, and it immediately became one of my favourites. I feel so inspired and I find watching your videos very relaxing. I love the calm vibe.
I really like your channel. Keep up the wonderful work.. Your artistic eye is wonderful. Just as a note:There are lots of ways to remove the “orange” from wood. You can use the fashionable media style oven cleaner for stripping, bleach it or you can sand it and apply white wax. Or all these together, You will like the results. Good luck
I love what you've done. Love the colour scheme. Love your own painting, and how you re-framed the coal sketch. So tasteful, all of it. Will follow for more!
ok so many thoughts! I just found your channel and this was great! your thrifting haul was insane?? you must have some fantastic thrift stores.. I think that chartreuse-y pillow was my fave. I honestly love the fireplace/living room now with those wood walls and sconces! It seriously looks so good.. very warm and chill. You could even tile that piece of wood with something more your style.. I was imagining like a square, glossy burgundy zillege tile or something reminiscent of batchelder tile. But either way, what an improvement! Also I really would love to buy a copy of that painting you did, its sooo good!
I just found your channel. What you've done here is so simply beautiful. I love that you are your natural self, and your art...well, your mastery is much more advanced than mine, although I do love decorating my home with it anyway.😂😂
I recently was considering dying my own fabrics and yarns naturally so that’s great to see! You have also inspired me to play with paints! I love the final reveal, wish I could see the tv wall and how that connects to the lounge area, I have the same issue in my new lounge and trying to design the space is proving to be very difficult. One wall fireplace, one wall giant bifold doors and the issue is always, where will the tv go?! 😂 Great video and channel, I love the pace of it - very calming! X ❤
yeh it's wonderful fun just make sure you mordant first ;) and yes I realised far too late that I didn't show or explain that, the solution was a bit crazy, I had the tv on the opposite wall from the mantel which was kind of far away so my partner had the pull the couch down a metre or so in that direction whenever he watched TV. he hated it 🤣 we put felt things on the couch feet.
Love your earthy tones in your living space. I enjoyed watching you curate each item and place it so carefully. Also love your knitted sweaters. Do you knit them yourself?
Love how it turned out, you are so creative and have a good eye for color and detail , and I definitely vibe with your style💚🌻. Also that art work you created was gorgeous, have you studied acrylic art/ painting?
Maybe this is a weird thing to have latched onto with this whole project … but I’d really love to hear more about how you deal with paint clean up and disposal of rags, etc. I HATE the amount of waste that comes with painting and every time I clean my equipment up afterwards, I feel horrible and wish there was a better way to do it. I LOVE the idea of using a glass palette instead of those horrible plastic trays. Your painting is GORGEOUS. I couldn’t take my eyes off of it. It turned out really well. Lovely. ❤
You made the simple bland basic layouts to something youbd see on arthecturial digest book or series especially the cabin area. So very well dressed yet cosy! Brava youre verh talented hope you look into being interior designer . (Also love how yoi know your undertone colours in your clothes you look fresh and put together regardless what you wear) are you an infj by any chance???
impressive considering it is a rental and you have that whole fireplace wall situation. Now I think your eye is not drawn there with the other nice touches you have done. Hope you are feeling better. I've been fatigued for several month over a misdiagnosis, so I can understand the effort it can take to get anything done. Be well. (:
thankyou 🙂 in actual fact this makeover completely killed me at the time! not at all wise for where I was at the time but we live and learn. I'm recovering slowly. hope things get better for you and you go easy on yourself 😊
I appreciate your being just you. No added chirpy artificial personality to keep us engaged. You are already engaging. Keep it up
thankyou so much ! I do try to be myself 🙂

thankyou so much. I think people who are new to making art can make the most incredible things because they're not as attached to them!
Beautifully curated!

Lovely makeover. Look forward to see more :)

The new chair is beautiful. I personally wouldn't put a cushion on it, it covers up that beautiful back.
Omg, love how this looks!!
I love your ideas. Your house is beautiful 😊

Fabulous. But please change your chandelier so it matches your classy taste❤❤

Also forgot to mention, did you ever get the naturally dyed crochet cushion? 😀
I did ! it's in the 'starting my living room makeover' video :)
