We're Chris W. Smith and Jack De Sena (aka Chris & Jack). We've been friends for years and love making high-quality, high-concept sketch comedy. Chris was a Blue Man in Blue Man Group. Jack voiced Sokka in Avatar the Last Airbender. In 2016 we united to create this channel, confusingly titled “Chris & Jack”, which has served as a shared platform to write, produce, direct, edit, and star in our own stuff. Also, we were also ghosts the whole time you were reading this. Supernatural twist!

Hi friends, hope you enjoy! We’ll be releasing more sketches all throughout the year so subscribe and hit the bell. Would mean the world to us!
Missed y'all, looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Guys, you're THE ONLY channel I disable adblock before watching vids, best wishes on improvement of your brilliant work! You're amazing, never forget that.
We will. Thanks for giving another vid to enjoy guys.
Cant wait for more to come
Every one of your guys' videos is like opening that first present on Christmas morning. The anticipation, the surprise, the unbridled joy of experiencing it. Don't feel pressured to just pump videos out, you two (and everyone else involved in production) are perfect as is :)
I was just checking to see if I missed any uploads the other day. I was getting a little scared because it had been a long time even for you guys but this was worth the wait.
This must've been a lot of fun for Chris, right up his alley with all the 'body acting'.
I just remembered Chris was in the blue man group, that has to explain his level of control
Wait, for real?!
Wait really???
@@vze1ruuh yeah, read the description. & Jack voiced Sokka

At 0:44, Chris' robot said "You have 200 seconds." At time 3:58 he said "...one... final update..."

There is beauty in inefficiency, and to think solely in the terms of efficiency is to invite stagnation, and limits the potential for growth. For every percieved inefficiency or deficiency ir irrationatlity in one area, humans have proven time and again that they excell in others. For with those inefficencies comes variances and variables, which creates new ideas and new innovation.

Don't hate the player, S L, hate the lazy M$ coders who require you to update constantly.
I've always wondered that point. If robots (in the movies) are evolving enough to understand they don't want us, AND they keep evolving to adapt to everything we do, WHY WOULD THEY NOT EVOLVE ENOUGH TO IGNORE US? Like how your robots moved on to another existence, OR like how we ignore 99% of bacteria and viruses, or even most insects, we just don't care what they do because they are insignificant to our lives. Nope they get hung up on killing us and that becomes their new objective forever.
because we might inevitably interfere with their abilities to fold shirts in the near future.
THE BOYS ARE BACK!!!
4:26 BINARY OVERFLOW!
I think you mean integer overflow as a binary overflow is when a bit holds an electric charges higher than that of a 1, while an integer overflow is when a number is incremented past the maximum number the allotted number of bits is capable of storing which fits the scenario depicted in the video where the robot has all of that ascending energy that overflows back to zero causing him to go limp.

If he's a robot programmed with the sole purpose of folding shirts, eventually he will fold the last shirt and without humans to make the shirts unfolded hed have no more purpose, making his existence meaningless. But what do i know, im just a fish.
But we- I mean the robots wear shirts
@jam_toast1 that's true, I'd argue about how robots wouldn't need shirts as they were probably only wearing them for human robot compatibility but I know nothing about robots
they could just make more shirts themselves

I've missed you guys 😭 this was great! so excited for everything coming!
Glad to see you guys are back at it! And another lovely sketch!
I’m glad I supported the Kickstarter and saw this yesterday
When the robot said: "Ne-ne. Ne"... I really felt that.
My favorite parts of this are the little choices of genuine emotion in the robot's voice. How they sound impressed when they admit the horse succeeded, and that strange smugness with "I am programmed to fold shirts".
I love how, after he put all his electronics away, the robot from the parent test sketch was used instead
The robots having taken over the world out of a desire to do things like fold shirts is, intentionally or not, a neat tie to the Paperclip Problem. Basically, the premise goes that if you create a self-improving AI and give it the task of “Make paperclips as efficiently as possible”, it will eventually convert all matter in the cosmos into paperclips.
That purpose has already been demonstrated by a very wise horse.
You guys are without a doubt the best youtubers!!!

3:03 water? You mean the universal disolver, the ruster? The salt destroyer?
I dont have time to be dead.
Robots don't require shirts.
Without humans, that robot's primary function of folding shirts becomes meaningless...thus, the robot's own existence becomes meaningless & it's function is no longer required.
So, by their own logic, the robots need humans to exist in order to give their own existence purpose.
In deleting humans, they may as well delete themselves...making the original argument against humanity cyclical & flawed.
Thereby, their argument against the continued existence of humanity is an invalid argument & serves only a superfluous function resulting in the robots' own inefficiency.
except they don't care about why they were programmed to fold shirts just that they want too they don't need to justify it
it's what they want to do
@@clintonbehrends4659 Either they don't care about the meaning of things, in which case they shouldn't care about the meaning of human's existence either, or they do care about the meaning of things in which case they should care about the meaning of their existence and functions. Doing otherwise would be completely illogical, the type of double standard that is very human like and not machine like at all.
