Worth noting that Aleph-Null + Re'vas are usable in ALL 3 TRACKS. Yes, build customized teams to fulfil as many requirements as possible, but when it comes to levels 11+ chances are you can get UNREASONABLY FAR by turtling with Aleph + Revas.
As a heads up for that melee bolter combo Nandi talks about, instead of burchard, since he has a ranged attack, Calgar is a great pick if you have him. If you dont, Titus is another melee only toon that does Bolter damage and will count towards both tracks. Hope this helps
On top of the alpha track mistake with Brother Burchard, I have had a quick scroll and not seen anyone else point out that for Physical there are no/very few physical damage characters with more than 4 hits (none that I have and though there may be someone I'm missing your recommendations are all under 4 hits) so matching physical with max 4 hits and mechanical by itself works better, and allows yet more abusing of the re'vas/aleph null combo :)
Looking at Patermine LRE I think we don't talk enough about what may become a silent hero of both mechanical and max 2 hits - Tan'Gida +Makhotep. The little necron not only heals but his active fits so well with Tan'Gida's summons
The LRE seems to have a slightly easier structure than Kharn or Mephiston, where even at lower levels it was very complicated to clear multiple tracks at the same time. How effectively easy it will be is up to see once it hits, though... I wouldn't mind to unlock the character on first try, since I've never done it before: I stopped at 375 for Kharn and 350 for Mephiston. Well, I guess it's time to look at the roster and prepare for all tracks! 😉 Edit: Alpha melee & bolter don't go really well with each other, and Burchard is not melee only...
While I have incredibly harsh opinions on genestealers when it comes to tabletop, in Tacticus I'm excited to see how nasty they'll be! Also, any opportunity to field *The Boys* (Maladus & Rotbone) is welcome to me lol -That Maladus Guy
I think Patermine should be pronounced like you'd pronounce Pater when talking about a priest (I assume most would pronounce the second syllable instead of making it sound like "patter"). It's the latin (and imperial gothic) for "father", so Patermine is basically "father-mine" as in an archaic way to say "father of me/mine". It's probably also a nod to the classic Lord's Prayer "our father in heaven..." which is "pater noster in caelis", except this is switching our to mine.
First off, Thanks Nandi for another great video man, I truly appreciate the excellent videos you create. Regarding the video itself, in the Alpha Track, Melee + Bolt team, you included Burchard. I am afraid he does not qualify as such. Probably you meant Calgar instead (which sucks because it is a Legendary character). Once again, thanks a lot for these type of videos, it helps me (a lot) to plan ahead for the LRE's.
Bolter + Max 4 (although not too many points), allows quite a few more characters including Isabella, Burchard, Yarrick and Calgar among others ;-) Leaving by the way, Mechanical selection by itself which allows ReVas+Aleph combo plus ALL the mechanical good stuff you know (Actus, TanGida, etc)
For power melee (no imperial), I think it's time to start adding aunshi as the recommendation! For those who have him, it's time to invest honestly. The reason I'm saying this is the later stages (13/14) where rotbone and maladus can't cope on their own anymore when lascannons enter the field. the 3 movement and damage reduction allow for a sprint to the spawn point, and enables winning again! Angrax serves his purpose, but I feel that he hits a ceiling and cant support d2.5+ maladus/rotbone in the same way aunshi can.
If no one has mentioned it yet, ill say that it's possible genestealers will have infiltrate most definitely as it's their defining trait on tabletop(for bighammer and killteam). They're probably gonna have high melee attack and movement(unstoppable is a possibility) and maybe synapse. Anyways thanks for the useful vidoes Nandi.
You should never apologize about creating quality content when the information is there. If SP doesn't want datamine, they should just give an announcement for all the info in the datamine and caveat it with "subject to change up until release."
Patriarch has synapse amd summons purestrain genestealers!!! Well, i know who is going in my nid teams 5th slot!! Since it seems they are taking their sweet time with Parasite of Mortrex...
I find it weird that they only gave him just melee attack It's even weirder that it's eviscerate too I hope these are not the go to because I personally would have gone with a psychic range attack and bio for melee
For what its worth: I think a part of this at least is just because they help with the Tyranids. Kind of like an informal 6th to 10th character. That also makes it easier for Snowprint to run Quests with Tyranid & Genestealer units (like they did with Admech and Necrons) and might also signal an incoming campaign with Tyranids & Genestealers allowed on one side (maybe against Blood Angels to fill out whats left of that roster)
@@Wowthatsfunnylol121 neither is there a tau campaign. Hopefully you get your nids campaign so this pack won't end up as some shitty thing nobody wants to req for

Three videos in two days. How lucky we are!
Edit: except Burchard is not melee! (even I know that)

This patch has been massive, and getting all the information on what to look forward to has been huge, keep up the good work Nandi!
Awesome, very excited to see GSC arrive. Thanks for the help!
4:18 Burchard doesnt counts as a Melee Only Unit, he has ranged attacks

Great info looking forward to the genestealers they look fun and love them on the tabletop 🤘

The planner on who to level up is so invaluable. Luckily, most of the units listed are already pretty high level for me. Thank you for what you do

FOR THE EMPEROR OF NANDIKIND
Thank you for quick updates. I want to be prepared for next LRE.
I'd be so excited to get some named GSC characters, with a Kelermorph being a cherry on top.

Calgar if you have him fits those requirements and is better than burchard anyway

how high to characters generally need to be? do the core 3 generally need to be gold 1, and the others at least s1?

no point in new characters if the Devs kept making the requisition getting worse than grox manure.

Great video as always Nandi, but I got a say. I'm disappointed in the community for going with this faction. Wouldn't have been my to 5.

they could've added custodes, emperor's children, iron fists, drukhari, krieg but no they had to give us the lamest faction in 40k
the midstealers
I think the biggest problem is that there's no tyranids campaign to play, otherwise this would be welcome
