Does dolby app equalizer disables the native equalizer in Xbox Accessories app? because I don't know if I should reset the equalizer in Accessories app or not.
Why does my Dolby atmos turn off when I start battlefield 2042. Was fine with my old Xbox one. Bought a new Xbox x and now I can’t get it to stay on. Thanks.
Hey this may be a silly question, if you use Dolby access, does the Dolby settings override the eq settings you’ve set for the headphones in the Xbox settings, or does it sort of work in tandem? I’ve got the wired Xbox headset and wondering will I get the same results as the wireless if I use Dolby access
No you have to enable the Dolby on audio settings, once done the Dolby will take place and apply those settings Keep in mind that if you don't change that the default Windows sonic will still be used
@@ernandoavila1548 Generally, I used -3 on the bass and +3 or +6 on the rest of the freq. But I would suggest you try because hearing sounds or music is different from person to person
In my experience I would say Dolby is the way to go, but what you choose depends on your taste. The best thing is to try both and decide what is the sound you like the most
@@JULVEXGAMING i tried both already, for FPS games (CoD) I prefer Dolby (Spatial audio is the best to hear breath of the enemies lol) and other games (racing, RPG, Horror) I think DTS:X much better
How do you know the dolby atmos app is taking precedence over the xbox accessories app? It seems there are two apps and no way to know which app the headset is using
@@Jon_Dough because when you enable in your Xbox Series X|S the “Dolby Atmos for Headphones” in General->Volume&Audio Output that will take over on the Equalizer profile which you can use instead if you leave the Windows Sonic audio active. Actually you don’t have icons or submenu’s as you might have on PC to be sure what is the output and what that output has as an equalizer, but I’ve tested different audio profiles just to check the differences and whenever you have the Dolby Atmos activated that will always take the precedence
@@JULVEXGAMING excellent thanks very much for the information. What happens if you have Dolby Atmos audio selected for the headset and you play a game that does NOT support dolby atmos?
