Over a year with my OnePlus 7 pro 5G and I still love it. That full screen and 90fps is what kills other phones for me.
Just got myself a slightly used OP7T Pro, great recommendation. Really wanted a pixel but neither the 5 nor the 4a felt like as good as a value proposition as the OP7T Pro (+ i really love the blue color).
Funny you mentioned that as I am trying to decide between Pixel and something maybe more flagship polished. Also trying to stay under 500 to 550 range and ideally new.

Around 2 hrs of youtube and some normal calls of 1hrs in btw with all the features in ON, including data, Bluetooth, 90 hertz all the time.

I gave my daughter the choice of picking her phone. She researched and compared different Android phones to the latest iPhone. I said it was up to her if she wanted either, she went with the OnePlus 7 Pro. Still rocking it today she loves it.

-get GCAM
-get forced 90Hz via adb (almost like 120hz)
-disable ram boost
- disable status bar via adb(it preventing screen burn- in , also try to use less than 50% brightness)
-set the display resolution to adaptive mode. (get 6 hrs SOT on heavy usage, you wont able to tell the difference in resolution while usage, its that smart)
and this phone will feel like any other performance champ of 2020. literally everyone
Gcam now even support the 3 cameras WITHOUT ROOT.. that's amazing
what exactly does "ram boost" do?... I got my OP7T Pro a week ago, and I didn't see any issues with the RAM.

I've been on a OnePlus 7 Pro since last year, it's an amazing phone especially switching from an iPhone. It took about a weeks worth of relearning Android, and it was like nothing changed/everything got better.

@@Justgambleit I switched from Oneplus to iPhone and back. Idk how the current iPhones handle but the 7+ was just a pain to use, compared to OP back then. So I would recommend it 100%. just keep in mind that the OP7 Pro is a pretty big phone (compared to standard iPhones)

Aaron, I'd like to thank you for finding out about this phone last year from you. This is what I got for Christmas as a gift for myself. Until now, it's still excellent in my opinion. It doesn't have an annoying notch. The battery still lasts me a whole day without charging, with a short charging time because of the Warp charging. Also, it saved me from buying wireless chargers. I'm not looking to upgrade for another 2 years because this really holds up really nice.

I went from a OnePlus 6 to a Samsung S10e for a downsize in phone, something I regret I did.
So I've sold my S10e and picked up a OnePlus 7T for 330 euros, barely used 3 months old.
Decided to go with the 7T instead of the 7 Pro because I really wanted a flat screen and the trade off in the rest of the specs was worth it for me personally
It feels so good to watch this video. I have been using 7 pro since June 2019. No problems ever. Will use this for another year and I m sure it I'll work well

I have been using this phone from 1 and half year and the phone is still execellent .The performance is good and the cameras with G-CAM is soooo good !!! Even the design of the phone is good and even defeats some flagships also...

Rocked my Galaxy S9+ since release, and watching this video made me realize I really do get frustrated sometimes when I have to take a picture, because the camera is not so great after almost 3 years, or when I run out of battery in the middle of the day. I was waiting for the glory of the 120hz iPhone 12, guess that didn't happen. So I searched up and found a OnePlus 7 Pro selling for just under $300, and yeah, I ordered it and I'm waiting on it to get delivered in a few days. Point is - thanks Aarun❤️

I have the OnePlus right now and I'm switching to iphone. The screen has some weird ghosting on whites, it's too large, and the curved edges are frustrating to deal with unless I have a very thick case. The selfie camera is also a constant headache and warps figures to look like some weird alien monstrosities. It is funny for Zoom meetings I guess. In addition the stabilization is poop. On the bright side the storage and overall speed is incredible. I'm just handing mine over to my boyfriend who takes zero pictures but can't remember to charge his phone ever - the battery in this thing is incredible.
I use Iphone and I love the os, but come on apple make your screens look good. I won't buy one without the home button until they make a notchless display

btw my father and i had bought phones almost together. he got the samsung s10+ while i bought op7 pro. and I'm not lying but his phone seems to be outdated. his phone was costlier and without a high refresh rate screen. he did have an earphone jack tho.
also as far as software upgrades are concerned, you can get good custom roms like lineageOS for this device for a long long time.
I got this last year and it's still incredible. I don't really need a strong selfie camera but I love the 90fps and 2k res and FULL SCREEN not camera cut outs

Wow, you really did justice to the onplus 7 pro! You're the only one pointing out that camera improved A LOT through the updates and that it is still very good nowadays with the Gcam.
I just have to precise that yes, it has water resistance. No IP rating because the phone would have coste around 50$ more, but it is.
I'm using it from its launch and I wouldn't change it even for a 2021 high end, cause the notchless screen simply is better than any other phone today and the rest still competes

@@rajyavardhansingh4491 no. Just 60 fps. I don't know if in the future they may upgrade that, or if 120hz phones can achieve that limit, however, it heats so much that you would prefer to keep it on 60 fps (I sure you 😅)

I just had a throwback looking at my gmail when you said wow thanks bro on my comment and i was saying something about you hitting 400,000 subs, this was in 2017, and it's so crazy that I've watched every video from then and in that time you've grown your channel and you as a person so much and it's crazy and kind of awesome to see.
