@@nc3397 yeah I was always skeptical about Android for being laggy or if it didn't had the smoothness of the iPhone UI but now it's finally not laggy and it's very smooth scrolling just like the iPhone. One thing that actually made me switch was the trouble exporting my photos and videos. I would recommend getting the 256 gb 12 ram version. It's really good

I love the pop up camera. It works so well on my 7Pro and it's just nice having something different. I'll wait for the 9Pro to see if they bring it back I guess. I just bought a new SUV with wireless charging but can't take advantage of it with my 7Pro. This was my first 1Plus phone and I have been impressed.
Nope. They gave up on it unfortunately. I love it too. And uninterrupted screen.

Proud OnePlus 6 owner (8GB/128GB) for two years now, absolutely loving it every bit. There are times when a few apps misbehave but they're quick to update the phone and everything's back to being awesome. That's what I love about OnePlus, they make few devices, and take care of their users. Not upgrading in near future, no matter what!
@Sshsh HHshsh Samsung brings brand value and original technology to the table. Samsung is putting AMOLED screens in phones and not IPS/LCD like Mi, Realme etc. and their update scene is better for mid seg (20k onward) phones.
It has to be OnePlus or Samsung for an Android lover unless budget is a problem.

I think the solution to the full-screen front of the phone without the pop-up camera is to have a small 1x1 inch 'preview' screen on the back of the device itself so people can preview selfies and take them with the primary camera. No moving parts, waterproofing can continue, and users can still take selfies. Thoughts @Marques Brownlee?

Problems with the one plus 7t pro
Significant shutter lag. Take the picture and you'll see about a 2 second delay. The camera takes way too long to get ready when I open the app even if it's in the ram. I'm not the only one with this issue.
The ultrawide camera is no where near as good as the main. All the colours are wrong and everything. The only way you can use the ultrawide is outside in good lighting with landscape. The camera also doesnt cope well with even the slightest motion
With the 2 finger swipe to play music, I had music play randomly in class and it was really embarrassing. There's also no one handed mode but I won't get into that.
Theres no option to quickly switch WiFi networks in the notification bar. I have to go all the way into settings to switch the preferred WiFi.
The new gesture navigation is terrible, especially with the curve. The curve is cool and all but I cant go back by swiping on the curve everytime as its inconsistent. Going back from swiping up from the bottom is a much better idea as the bottoms is easily accessible. They have also removed the Google pill navigation system.
Well, I've never experienced a phones curve before so once I got the one plus, I could see why it's not ideal. Curve is reflective, theirs distortion,it's fragile, it's VERY hard to get a good screen protector that's a good curved fit and work good with the on-screen fingerprint. Pop up camera is not good for face unlock as it uses up the motor. Youd think the fingerprint is enough but it fails about 2/10 times.
This is my first device with higher then 60hz. I can only tell the difference if its my one plus. Any other phone and I can't tell the difference. 90hz is even harder to tell when using screen protector.
1080p and 1440p, cant tell the difference. You need a 27inch screen to consider 1440p.

When I got the S7 Edge, I hated that inferno ... it looked stunning but I always accidentally pressed stuff on the edges of the screen while holding it in my hand. I finally took it back and got the regular S7 ... ever since that day, I've never liked phones with crazy curving screens on the edges.

I can see Marques putting up his review of oneplus 9 pro instead of first impressions since when it gets officially announced on Tuesday, he would have had the phone for 2 weeks which is how long he usually uses a phone before reviewing it. I prefer it like that as I prefer to see a review of a phone by reviewers on the day of the announcement so that when pre orders are available, the fans know what to expect rather than wait a couple of weeks for a review and ending up buying it first and regretting it later. I know some people can just wait for the phone to come out and then buy it a little later instead of pre ordering it but some people like to pre order

@MKBHD I feel like they removed the pop-up camera for the IP-68 rating. It probably wasn't cost effective to find a solution to waterproofing the pop-up camera.
