Plus slow on stocks in physical stores. Paid to reserve myself a mi9 in one of their stores, told to wait one month, and guess what? After a month no stocks still. Tho the money is refundable
Update #2: Bought the OP7 Pro at launch. Still as good as new. Minor scratches on the screen, but nothing that's not from normal use. Camera is much better now, on par with most flagships. Pop up still works, uses it on a daily basis. Battery is still good, but it might have gotten a bit worse (now I get to 20-25% at the end of the day, before I used to get to 30-35%). Could be placebo. Would still recommend buying the OnePlus 7 Pro, especially if it's on sale.
The 4 hours definitely i use a oneplus 6 and that would make sense with the opo7 pros higher resolution and 90Hz. But they will definitely update the battery to be better

@@prashantsolanki007 Ya I understand that. Obviously the tech isn't there yet because it significantly cuts the battery life. Apple isnt one to just pile a bunch of features in its phones. They only add the feature if its neccessary or it doesnt kill optimization.
@@justin60222 please don't give crap about the tech is not there. See the asus phone called ryoga 2 something, they have 120hz rate and with battery life which can last days. 3 to 4 years ago apple used to give best quality for high price but now it gives mediocre for high price. I was hoping for some innovation from apple this time but they failed with Iphone 11. They are now just business not like past. The people who'll buy Iphone 11 is just because they have more money to spend and they can show it off for a while. No need to take my word, the time will tell as apple's phone industry will fall if no innovation is done. This phone one plus 7 pro even though not best in everything is overall the best phone in this year especially with its price.
3T is still crazy fast :)) I'm switching to 7 pro this week... glad they didn't pull Apple's shit of slowing the phones with each update (last update was in August) Edit: 7TPro is crazy fast
All Nebula needed in End Game was a VPN to avoid that fiasco 😂 This 7 pro better run VPNs fast too. But with that colour scheme and naming, im skeptical.
Looking back at this phone it was literally the best phone I ever used. I’m now using the iPhone 12 Pro Max and I really like it but I have to say the OnePlus 7 Pro was the best overall experience I had so far.
just bought one of these to use as a secondary phone with a custom rom, and i am incredibly impressed with how modern this phone still feels in 2024. i got it for 200 on ebay open box, with all the original accessories. for 200 dollars, this kicks the ever living SHIT out of modern phones you can buy new for around that much, and even gives modern midrangers a run for their money. the display still feels flagship even 5 years later, and thats because in some ways it still is. it has a higher resolution than the base galaxy s24 and even the pixel 8 pro, and the lack of any hole punch or notch is something barely any phone nowadays can claim. the refresh rate is a bit lower than the modern standard of 120hz, but the phone is still so responsive i can barely tell. performance wise, the snapdragon 855 isnt great by modern standards but its still perfectly adequate for 90% of the stuff people do with phones (scrolling, texting, making calls, watching videos, listening to music, etc) and can still play almost every game even if maybe not at max settings. i have the 12gb ram version as well, which is also more than a lot of phones have nowadays. i havent tested the camera much yet, but apparently with gcam its quite decent. i dont know whether to call this phone ahead of its time or modern phones behind their time
Looking for a new phone after my 18 month old tossed my G8 over the balcony. Still works but I've got a broken display pixel that drives me up the wall.
You've done it again, Marques. Four years ago your video convinced me to buy a Nexus 6, and I just ordered a OnePlus 7 Pro now to replace it. Keep it up, and I'll be back in four years! :p
Nexus 6 was a great phone ahead of it's time. Dual speaker's, solid 12mp camera, oLED display. Those were the days when Motorola also had the Droid turbo, which was insanely good
Am i the only one who's actually impressed that oneplus released android 9 for the oneplus 3 a few days ago? Like I still have that phone and it's relatively old
I have a OnePlus 3T and it still serves me well to this day. I see no use in buying a new phone and I am completely content keeping this 3T for another few years. It has not slowed down and is still super fast. No deal breaking problems and the fast charging is still insane. Battery life took a bit but I still get like 3 hours of screen on time. This is how you know a company like OnePlus is great.
@@MrMysteryyy Did you update to 9.0.5 and how do you feel about it? I did find some performance issues after the update and now planning to downgrade back to 5.0.8 Oreo
It has stereo speakers now and they are not bad but not the best. Out of all major brands it's probably 4th best. Still, other dude is right it's an improvement from the 6T and if you want good quality obviously use earbuds, headphones, speaker, etc.
Yea i feel you, the battery is not bad but it leaves a bit to be desired, having that warp charger helps a lot tho. What i'm still trying to get accustomed to is the big screen, i don't have the biggest hands and it has been difficult for me to use it one handed.

Would still recommend buying the OnePlus 7 Pro, especially if it's on sale.

just bought one of these to use as a secondary phone with a custom rom, and i am incredibly impressed with how modern this phone still feels in 2024. i got it for 200 on ebay open box, with all the original accessories. for 200 dollars, this kicks the ever living SHIT out of modern phones you can buy new for around that much, and even gives modern midrangers a run for their money. the display still feels flagship even 5 years later, and thats because in some ways it still is. it has a higher resolution than the base galaxy s24 and even the pixel 8 pro, and the lack of any hole punch or notch is something barely any phone nowadays can claim. the refresh rate is a bit lower than the modern standard of 120hz, but the phone is still so responsive i can barely tell. performance wise, the snapdragon 855 isnt great by modern standards but its still perfectly adequate for 90% of the stuff people do with phones (scrolling, texting, making calls, watching videos, listening to music, etc) and can still play almost every game even if maybe not at max settings. i have the 12gb ram version as well, which is also more than a lot of phones have nowadays. i havent tested the camera much yet, but apparently with gcam its quite decent. i dont know whether to call this phone ahead of its time or modern phones behind their time
