Suggestion for next year. I would like to see a "Best old phone" or something similar with a better title. Like a phone that holds up today but is like 2 years old now.
This is interesting because people are keeping their phone longer and longer, and many people don't buy a new NEW phone but an older flagship like a Galaxy S9.

My Pixel 2 has both face and fingerprint unlock. Google removed the face unlock via software update, and removed the fingerprint from the hardware of the pixel 4. Not buying another pixel phone ever again...

Memory card slots (in my opinion) aren't as important as they were a few years ago, because most phones these days have 64-128 GB base storage (or even 256 GB, like the Galaxy Note 10), which is enough to 99% of smartphone users. It's still nice to have it, don't get me wrong, but it takes up more space inside a phone, while being unnecessary to most people.

I literally just rewatched every MKBHD phone award because I'm so hyped for this years awards. My money is on that either the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE or OnePlus 8T will win MVP.
Marques, a stock Android and big Pixel fan, giving the bust of the year award to the Pixel 4, just further proves and shows he gives honest unbiased reviews. This is why I love his videos.

And every laptop he reviews. And every other tech he reviews And cmon, I’ve been an iPhone user for the longest time, but I can see how and why Tech reviewers may be biased towards OnePlus. The specs and experience you’re getting with OnePlus is unbeatable for the price. It’s really an unfair competitor.

So proud to be a OnePlus user. The 7 Pro really is amazing.
After this video, I got a feeling if Asus would put out a non-gaming phone with same or similar specs with an improved camera in a more subdued body for 2020 they’ll have a phone that could outsell or at least compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S line. I’ll bet the only reason it’s not a bigger seller is that the ROG styling is too aggressive for non-gamers. A sleeker Asus would KILL.
The main reason i bought the razer phone over the rog phone (first gen both) is the much more subtle look. The rog phone should follow suit and the phone will sell like hot cakes.

True that, when I purchased the OnePlus 7 Pro earlier this year I also had the ROG in mind (though I think ROG 2 wasn't out then) but you nailed it by saying that the design just put me off. I'm sure this is the case with a lot of other buyers too and really hope that Asus comes out with a series next year that can compete with the Samsung Galaxy S series and others.

100% agree. This phone is a flagship killer. The only reason why it didn't do as well in the us as it should have is because it did not have any us carrier support. You could only get it from Asus or third party vendors.
