@@pjsin9472 It's funny, Maiden with Di'Anno and Maiden with Bruce have two totally different vibes. As someone on a message board once put it, early Maiden with Di'Anno makes me think of an alleyway streetfight. Maiden with Bruce however makes me think of a knight riding into battle on horseback with a rapier.
The sands of time for me are running loooooooooooooooooo...oooooooooooooooooooooo...ooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.... running looooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHHHHHWWWWWWW YEAAHHHHHHHH!!!!!
Iron Maiden and especially Steve Harris have stayed humble throughout all their success. Probably easier said than done. Fantastic reaction, welcome to the family.
I love it when people experience Bruce’s singing for the first time. It’s like. Yep I know how you feel I felt the same way 30 years ago when I discovered divinity listening to my first Maiden song.
The thing with Iron Maiden and a few other older metal acts is that when they do a live show they do a LIVE show. They know people are paying big bucks for a ticket and they do not disappoint. I have seen Maiden over 7 times and each time it got better. I wish acts today, weather it is a metal act, hip hop act or pop act would watch some Maiden videos and get a clue on how to do a concert. "Up the IRONS!"
Lol!!! Left you speechless I take it ? Happy you were able to see how they perform from back in the early 80’s to the current day. Such talent and my gig! They are monsters on stage. You will go in to a concert cool and come out sweating like a madman!
Their transitions are unparalleled, like or loath metal there is no denying that they are the best in the world at transitions, no other band comes close.
I'm sorry I'm acting to this really late but I'm so glad you found the greatness of Iron Maiden and I hope the rest of the years keep you entertained but good luck my man I like your show and I'm so glad that you are awesomely entertained
👏👏👏👏👏 I think that's the 1st time I've ever seen you rendered speechless my guy! Yeah...Iron Maiden is ALL THAT! "Rime Of The Ancient Mariner" from Live After Death (1985 live) next! You're gonna fuckin LOVE that! Thanks Swaggy! You fuckin rock! UP THE IRONS! 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
Clive Burr insane drummer and the best Iron Maiden had not taking anything away from nicko mcbrain, just my opinion... R. I.P. Clive always missed Never Forgotten
Yes Yes Swaggy RT just got a head full of Iron Maiden ! This song, never disappoints... I am looking forward to more Maiden on this channel. Great Reaction - Thank You ! Other Maiden classics - -Rhyme of the Ancient Mariner- -Two Minutes To Midnight- -22 Acacia Avenue- -Running Free- -Wasted Years- -Seventh Son of a Seventh Son- -The Clansman- Up The Irons 🤘 !!!
You just reacted to one of the greatest heavy metal song is history!!! Gotta fuck with this whole album is just brutal. Love iron maiden ! Nice reaction!
You ask why But the answer is what. The music fuels the crowd and the crowd returns the energy back and it grows into an explosion. Pure spiritual power and energy where you can just loose yourself. That my friend is HEAVY METAL
...."you'all gotta go over the top...." :) keep up the good work. The reason you may see the bass player mouthing the words to the song is because he had a big part in writing most of their music which is about history and stories from antiquity.
i was trying to work this out - I am 42 and come from a metal/hard rock background but I love rap - they are basically the same, aggressive, loud but not nasty but a similar energy. Always wondered why metal and rap fans had an affinity.
Well Swaggy, they’re going crazy & all that because of that METAL music grabs & squeezes you in the spine & ya just can’t help yourself.....Lol but you know that already
I'm a tad late catching your reactions but they are touring in 2022 you should try to check em out & I believe I witnessed Dave Murray and Adrian Smith melting your face off with those leads!! Lol Rock on 🤘
My man this band has had the same lineup since 1983, the only addition was Yannick Gers who replaced Adrian Smith after he left in the late 90s, he returned in 2000 along with Bruce Dickinson who also left the band briefly, to date they have the same members, originally Bruce replaced Paul Dianno and Nicko McBrain replaced Clive Burr on the drums.
I always find it amusing that even Iron Maiden (Of which I am and I do the same thing without even realizing it most of the time) fans gloss over the Blaze Bailey years in the mid-late 90s. We always phrase it like "Bruce briefly left/Bruce was doing his solo project and came back" and never mention Blaze by name. It's like a part of our brains just goes "Didn't happen!" Even though some of that stuff is really good we all do it.
This is one of their go to "encore Songs" that 's why they are giving it their all! That was the case anyways when I seen them live. Iron Maiden!! Try Seventh Son of a Seventh Son next, if you have not already. I am new here.
From 1982 to 2020 ... And this song will always make your heart skip to the rhythm of those guitars ... Too much energy ⚡ in one song ... 🤘🤘🤘⚡⚡⚡ Up the Irons !!!
Iron Maiden - THE BEST live band ever. Bruce Dickinson - the best metal vocalist ever. Enough said. Check “The Clansman” live from Rock in Rio 2001. You’ll understand.
I saw them in concert in 2008 iirc. They were incredible despite their age. Seen metallica twice as well and they are another incredible act. They just go from song to song for 3 hours straight without so much as a beer break between lol
Some guy, we'll call him ASSHOLE, sued Iron Maiden over this song saying he wrote it. It went on for about 15 years and they legally were not allowed to play this song due to Mr. Asshole's lawsuit. Of course that was the period of time I was able to see them. Last time I saw them like a year or two ago, they came out for their encore and FINALLY played this live. I had no idea the evil days of Mr. Asshole were over and I fucking lost my damn mind. Even like 40 years after this recording they still sounded this good.
SwaggyReacts, you missed it because you paused it at the beginning of the song right when Bruce went into holding that note for ever. Go back and check it out if you haven't....But SwaggyReacts, you didn't miss it at the end. Awesome reaction...speachless.
There are only 3 people who have been in Maiden who are not currently in the band. The original vocalist (the suck), the original drummer and a temporary vocalist for 1 album.
I have always loved Iron Maiden. I'm curious as to why reaction reviewers chose this song though? In my own personal opinion I don't think it's up there with their best. But most reaction people are doing it. Don't attack me people, my own opinion LOL I love the band. My favorite album, every single song on it, is Seventh Son of a Seventh Son
RIP Clive Burr... 3/8/1957 ~ 3/12/2013... "Iron Maiden lead singer Bruce Dickinson considered him to be "...the best drummer the band ever had. That's not taking anything away from [present drummer] Nicko. Technically, Nicko's probably a far more competent drummer than Clive. It's just that Clive had this incredible feel, and you can't learn that, and I regret that he wasn't given more time to try and sort himself out."
If you haven't already please react to these Maiden songs ...... 'Wasted Years, Powerslave, Infinite Dreams, Caught Somewhere In Time, Alexander The Great, Flight Of Icarus, Clairvoyant, Can I Play With Madness, Revelations, Aces High, The Evil That Men Do, Stranger In A Strange Land (GREAT SONG)!!'
You asked the question, why do they act like this and go crazy on stage. Well here's the answer. I play music myself although I am just a novice and nothing like these guys. What whether you're listening to the music or playing this kind of music it just makes you go crazy brother. It just does. There is no other way to react to this kind of Awesome music. I've seen over 100 concerts of many heavy metal bands from the 80s right on through to now. Once it gets ahold of you it will never let go. Rock on man
Check out "that girl" from this band. Adrian Smith is on vocals,, the song is from the B side of Stranger in a Strange Land record, check out the live version
Dude you're asking why are they doing this? They're doing this to make you react exactly the way you did. That's the goal and they fucking scored and took the world championship.
I dont care who invented metal... MAIDEN PERFECTED IT.
Ditto
There are 12,000 types of "Metal".
Maiden is one of the best in their particular lane tho, no argument there
Bruce is my favorite Maiden singer, his vocals plus his stage presence put him at the top.
Diano was great but yea, Bruce can't be beat

Iron Maiden and especially Steve Harris have stayed humble throughout all their success. Probably easier said than done. Fantastic reaction, welcome to the family.

They are legendary this is just scratching the surface 👍🏽
At the end, he just sitting there shaking his head. Yeah. Bruce did that to me too 37 years ago. Haha
I love it when people experience Bruce’s singing for the first time. It’s like. Yep I know how you feel I felt the same way 30 years ago when I discovered divinity listening to my first Maiden song.

The only right thing to do after this one is to react to Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark (live in Rio)
I concur, it would quite frankly be a travesty to metal if this wasn't done
Couldn’t agree more Fear of the Dark live next!!!
Saw them in 86 Bruce,s voice is unreal amazing🤘
These guys are great live. Best band OF ALL TIME. UP THE IRONS!
Great reaction man! I enjoyed that and this is the 5th one I've watched in a row for this song!
Seamless transitions that are just effortless to maiden. Fucking tune!!!

Was pretty much my reaction to first hearing the song, even after being a fan for a while. They do one amazing thing, then top it, then top it AGAIN

Bruce is the greatest frontman.. My opinion 👍💪💪👍

All metal that preceded this is a tribute.
Pachendale from iron Maiden then maybe some Sabaton, price of a mile, they are both songs about the same battle in the first world war
