I grew up in Satellite Beach in the 70's, graduated from Satellite High 1976. I think it was in my junior year when we had "Big Wednesday". A perfect 6-8 foot swell. That day was a feature in Surfer Magazine (I still have that edition), I surfed at Peg Leg's beach, just south of Mark Realty. I rode a 5'4" summerfish I bought at "Quiet Flight" surf shop (Formerly "MTB" surf shop) shaped by Greg Loehr.Wow! Memories!!!!!!!!! Kawabunga!

This was the best day Ive ever surfed. ever. All of Satellite, indialantic and mel beach was firing. the sets were close to double overhead
