- Winter has arrived!!! First major swell of the season sent PUMPING surf up and down the Florida coast with multiple days of well overhead waves and pristine conditions.

RC's can get good but it's not even close to many spots in South Florida for real thumping power and huge hollow tubes. It also doesn't compare to New Smyrna Inlet for consistency and overall high performance surf.

The video is spectacular. Just a bit too heavy on the slow mo. Unnecessary. Love to see conditions like this in Central Fla. Unfortunately there's not enough long period swell that sets up w/ perfect local conditions (like this).

Steve Hess agreed it’s definitely a uphill battle looking for the right corner. Interested to see what this massive beach re-nourishment and sand dumping is going to do for our bottoms 🤔
